"Great place to stay in Amsterdam "
We stayed at the Hilton for 2 days and thouroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is a bit outside the busy city center which makes it less noisy than other hotels in the city. Very nice lobby with different restaurants. Our room facing the canal had a nice view and was ok in regards to city noise. The room was nice with a sitting area and a satisfactory bathroom with enough place to put your toiletries. The gym on the first floor is well equipped and offers also a sauna. On the 10th floor is the executive lounge for Hilton Honors guests which offers snacks and drinks in a cosy environment. Breakfast was very good with a large variety of food and a very friendly staff. I would surely return to stay at this hotel for a trip to Amsterdam.
"A weekend in Amsterdam "
We had a weekend stay at the Hilton Amsterdam in an Executive Room on the 9th floor and I really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, and had lovely views over the canal and towards the city. Wifi in the room worked well We visited the Executive Lounge for breakfast both mornings and we found the selection very good (pastries, cereals, cold meats/cheses, yoghurts, toast etc). The evening drinks and canapés also seemed to be of high quality and the views for the top floor lounge were impressive. The location of the hotel was fine, though a little out of the city centre. We were able to walk to the Van Gogh Museum in about 15 minutes. It was another 20 minutes into the centre of the city. These were easy walks, but chilly in the depths of winter - Uber certainly came in handy! The bar on the ground floor was nice and had an old 'boys-club' feel with plenty of dark wood and an inviting fireplace. Drink prices were quite high (€10 for a glass of wine, €15+ for a G&T), which was a down-side. Staff were all very friendly and spoke excellent English. Overall we had a really nice stay.
"Excellent Amsterdam area hotel"
I’ve stayed at the Hiltonn Apollolaan two years in a row for ISE. This is an excellent hotel for the show as it is a moderate walk to the RAI. And for visiting Amsterdam this is a nice hotel right outside the main city. It’s close to trams and there are many great places to eat nearby. Also, if you’re too tired to go out, I found Uber Eats is a great way to get food from the area without going out.
"One of the best"
One night, special people, great location! I was really surprised to discover a very nice place to stay, with clean and comfortable rooms, great facilities, close to the centre. I strongly recommend it. Above and beyond 5* Thank you!
I have been in this hotel for business and once for travel, and I have always felt extremely welcome and comfortable. I always appreciate that the same employees are still there, that says a lot of the hotel and how they treat their people. Edgar is the best at breakfasts!.
