The Hilton Atlanta is located in downtown Atlanta, only 15 minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, this hotel is ideally situated within walking distance to many Atlanta city centre attractions.
"Friendly service and good location."
Hotel is within walking distance to all major downtown attractions including the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, CNN Center and College Football Hall of Fame. The building itself is not as flashy as the adjacent Marriott Marquis and Hyatt Regency, and the room does look a little dated even with the most recent renovation. That being said, the bed is comfortable, the room is clean, and the service is friendly and efficient. Considering I paid less than 100 dollars including breakfast, I am happy with what I got.
Dirty rooms. Loud dog barking all day and night. Dirty comforter. Dirty towels in bathroom and used toiletries from previous guest. Manger did move us but we had three rooms during our stay. Different issues in each room
"Shelter from Irma!"
My partner and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Hilton. The hotel itself is very large and has a very spacious lobby. Everything was very updated and modern. We were here to evacuate Hurricane Irma and the hotel went out of its way to accommodate evacuees. It really ended up being a nice treat to stay here. Upon checkin, there was a long line, but it wasn't too bad as the hotel was fully staffed at the front desk. I asked the desk clerk if the hotel was expecting all of these evacuees and she said, "no, this was planned to be a very quiet weekend, but we ended up completely selling out at the last minute with people evacuating." Honestly, the hotel was so well prepared, you would have never guessed it was a last minute sell out. The hotel was full of families and evacuated dogs! I've never seen so many dogs in one hotel. It was super cool to see. We didn't have a dog with us, but we noticed the hotel setup pet areas to make it easy for guests to walk and relieve their dogs. They also setup special meal options to accommodate all of the influx of families who were hunkered down in the hotel and not really venturing out. I loved all of the dining and bar options in the hotel. I had drinks at the lobby bar and had good service and good drinks. Breakfast in the morning was tasty and well stocked as well with upscale breakfast offerings. The hotel market and coffee shop is hands down the best hotel market I've ever seen. I was super impressed with the offerings there. The hotel also has a Trader Vics, which seemed to offer Polynesian and tropical style foods in a really cool cave-like area. I also went up to the snazzy rooftop restaurant/bar. It was quiet and a little stuffy/fancy, but the views are pretty cool and it looks to be really nice. I appreciated that they offered self-parking as valet is just a hassle in my opinion. Fairly easy parking situation here. We were on the 24th floor. The elevators are incredibly fast. The rooms were nothing spectacular, but were nice, clean, updated, and well maintained with really great views of downtown, Midtown, and Buckhead skylines. We really enjoyed our stay and wanted to extend one more night to avoid I-75 traffic going back south, but the hotel was full so we had to find another hotel in the area. Upon leaving, my partner (who doesn't get as excited about hotels as I do) said "aww, I really don't want to leave this hotel, I really liked it!" I hope we get to stay here again!
"The heart of downtown awaits"
The tv was a great size and swiveled. Excellent view of the city and Stone Mountain in the distance. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Great location! Great restaurant selection inside the hotel. Our room was clean and modern.
"Great hotel, lots of amenities and dog friendly"
During Irma evacuation we stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, location could not be better, just a mile away from all the big attractions so you avoid the crazy city traffic. Hotel has huge lobby with restaurant and even a mini market, with lots and lots of places to sit and relax. Dog friendly does not beging to describe it, probably more than half the guests had dogs, but there is a well kept area outside for walking them and hotel is immaculately clean. Only down issue was lack of parking space, paying 28$ a night and spending 20mins trying to get a spot was not a good option. Would suggest seeing about parking accross the street at a big public parking lot. Also room service food was not good, pricey and really, really not good. Left our dinner practically untouched. So maybe try the restaurant or eating out.
