"Good but expensive"
The Hilton Barbados Resort is not for backpackers! It has all the buttons and levers you would expect from this international chain. Lovely buildings, great pools, classic setting by a Caribbean beach.
"Perfect staying, nice beach and wonderful beach"
I feel very well in the Hilton Hotel because of Carissa- Hilton Honors Manager , Natasha- Guest Service Agent and Martha -Journey Ambassador do a fantastic job. They spoil the guests very much and take very good care of the concerns of the guests. Congratulations to this excellent stuff. The pool is very nice and the beach wonderful. If i’m back on Barbados , I’ll be back.
"Amazing time in Barbados!"
We stayed at the Hilton for 7 nights and we were thoroughly impressed with our stay. Everything from the room to the ocean view room and beach were amazing. With Hilton Honors, we were able to get wifi in the room and continental breakfast in the executive lounge, which was a bonus! I will definitely stay at Hilton again on my next trip!
My husband and I stayed at this hotel last week as part of a group of 11, celebrating a friend's 50th birthday. We stayed in a bay view room with the 50 US$ per day credit. Our room was spacious and had the most beautiful views towards the town and Carlisle Beach. The sunrises were fantastic and if you are awake early enough you can watch the race horses being washed down and swimming in the sea every morning. We had everything we needed in the room and the king bed was comfortable. The only slight niggle was the mold on the roof inside the wardrobe but apart from that the cleaner did a lovely job each day and the air conditioning worked well. The 50$ credit was useful for us as we didn't always want the full buffet breakfast, which was the other option. We didn't try the other restaurants on site but did have lunch at the pool bar on a few occasions and were quite happy with the food. Nothing is cheap here but we found that on the island as a whole, and the Hilton was no more expensive than anywhere else. The cocktails were good and the guys making them in the bar were great. In fact the staff throughout the hotel were so friendly and helpful that I had to give it five stars even though there were a few places that were a bit scruffy and tired. The pool area and beach were lovely with super soft sand and the location was really good. Taxis were cheap and plentiful and we were able to walk into Bridgetown along the beach. This was our first trip to Barbados so we did the Oistins fish evening (very expensive and not our cup of tea) and a jeep safari around the island (excellent). Some people also did the catamaran trip to go snorkelling with turtles which they rated very highly. We went to several really excellent restaurants too. I would highly recommend this hotel, particularly for groups, and if I return with my sons then I would definitely stay here again.
"Wonderful weekend stay"
The hotel is located on an exceptional beach with wonderful swimming - whether in dead calm water or in surf - as there are two great separate swimming spots. Pool facilities are also extensive. Staff are amazing and views from all rooms spectacular. Overall a lovely hotel.
