"Getting little thing wrong !"
Dropped into the Hilton for a quick drink yesterday, initially thought the bar was closed as there is building going on but the public bar has moved to what was the function room bar to facilitate the build. Firstly the positives, the young local barman was full of chat and charisma and has a great career in any customer related service he ends up in, in fact all the staff and indeed the Management were extremely customer focused and friendly..which makes me wonder why, why, why would they charge for an Americano coffee served in a paper cup (No other coffees available as the coffee machine has not been moved) ' So frustrating to get the big things right and mess up on something so trivial! And is it that hard to have proper cups '
"Poor Experience at Dublin Hilton Airport"
Location was good relative to airport and staff were professional and helpful but these positive attributes could not overcome very noisy A/C fan in two different rooms, slow internet, and very slow service in the bar.
"Nowhere near airport"
It is a serious stretch of the imagination to call this Hilton the Hilton Dublin Airport Hotel. A taxi from the airport to the HDAH costs E 15. By contrast, a taxi to the FitzWilliam Hotel in city center cost E35. In other words, unlike the Radisson Hotel, the HDAH is nowhere near the airport, and calling HDAH an 'airport hotel' verges seriously on false advertising. While the hotel is perfectly serviceable, the shock of having to commute half-way into town in order to reach the so-called airport hotel completely undercut the acceptability of this facility.
"Dublin Airport Hilton"
Good Location, Parking, near Tesco which is major grocery chain and shopping center. On major bus route, direct bus to city center. Free airport shuttle from and to Airport to hotel. Free Wi-Fy. Good restaurant and Bar. What I would like to see more is some Vegetarian dishes offered in restaurant/bar and room service.
Hilton is a great chain, but this hotel does not meet the Hilton standards. Location is not close to airport compared to other Dublin airport hotels. Room was hot, and mattress was terrible. Restaurant - was 45 minutes from time we sat down until we had drink order.
