As a solo traveler with little Spanish speaking skills, this hotel made my stay very comfortable and easy. I was treated very well and the staff made every attempt to improve my stay. The parks, museums & shops nearby were great for short-distance walking and gave me an overall great experience within the city.
"I Love This Hotel"
I just returned from my home away from home and to my surprise everything is not the same...... it is better. If you have read my previous reviews, they are extremely positive and nothing has changed. From the moment you pull up to the front door the doorman is there to greet you. Within 5 minutes of arrival you are in your room. All rooms are well appointed and very clean! You will get a great nights sleep with crisp sheets and a comfy bed. Towels are large and soft. Extensive choice of tv channels. Even the coffee in the room is very good. Internet is fast enough to watch Netflix. Housekeeping is great (day and night service). The bathrooms have high end tiling and counter tops and ours had both a shower and separate bath. The shower head provides great water coverage and water comes on hot anytime of day. The food in their main restaurant is very very good. Try the duck and order the Tortilla soap. They also have some amazing desserts The breakfast and dinner selections in the Executive Lounge are high end, fantastic selection, and amazing tidbits to appeal to any palate. Service is always great. It is worth the extra money to reserve an Executive Room because you will more than save the additional cost just in breakfast, supper and snacks. Not to mention a great place to have meetings. There are many great Hotels in Mexico City, and I have stayed at many of them. The Hilton Reforma is the only place in Mexico City I feel at home!
"WORTS PLACE EVER"
Although the room is only OK, the air conditioner do not work properly, is very noise and the housekeeper is one of the most rude person ever, and about 3:30 she even has clean my room, this is not only why I will never recommend this place, it is because I have never been treated like that in my entire life, the valet parking crash my car and told me that it was my fault, that I “deliver it like that” when I ask for the video showing that I arrive on a crash car they told me that was impossible, “videos are only for security reason”. This place is a joke, they took clients like they don’t matter and they charge you 50 pesos an hour to crash your car, in top of a very expensive rate on rooms and way overprice food. Francisco Nolasco and Cesar Delgado where 100% useless on solve the problem; and now I have to pay a reasonable amount to fix my car. This Hotel belongs to an American Chain, I can only say that this one of the worst in the entire city. Do not stay there.
"Amazing bachelorette party"
I was so fortunate to be able to get two rooms at the Hilton Reforma in March for my bachelorette party. There were five of us total and we were in two queen/queen bed rooms. I am a gold Hilton Honors member and the staff kindly upgraded us up to one of the highest floors with an amazing view of the city. The rooms were also recently renovated and HUGE. The hardwood floors make the room seem super clean and open. The bathrooms were more standard, but there was still ample space for us all to get ready. The rooms also had safes, which was helpful for us to store our passports. We ate at the ground floor restaurant of the hotel, which did not disappoint. I LOVE Mexico City and cannot wait to return with my fiance. The food & the culture is just terrific and there's so much to see & do. Three days was not enough. The hotel's location is terrific. We walked to many sites, shopping, and restaurants close to the hotel - and it was very safe. We used uber to get around, which was great and very easy. On the day of our departure the city's streets were closed for runners, bikers, joggers, etc. and it made getting in our uber a little difficult, but it was also great to see a city that is so active and vibrant. I cannot wait to return. Highly recommend a renovated room at the Hilton!
"Wonderful hotel staff!"
We had the most wonderful experience at this hotel, everyone at the hotel is so helpful and attentive! In the mornings at breakfast Alejandro would give us tips of where to go and what to do in the city! Great tips! As well as delicious breakfast! I did my nails and Patricia did a great job! She is soo nice and made me feel at home! Everybody was so nice to us that I will most definitely go back again! A big thank you to Pati, Alejandro and Luis! :)
