Lovely hotel, staff and great location! we had an amazing time celebrating our anniversary and this hotel just made it perfect! The breakfast was fabulous, loads of choice. The staff were incredible throughout, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended if anyone is visiting Venice x
"$$$$$ Venice $$$$$"
Venice is electric and one of the most beautiful ports to sail into in the world...we loved it, but it shook my wallet slam out..world class photo ops..food was fabulous...spent four nights after cruise and could have stayed longer ...
This hotel was a perfectly decent at a good price. The location was great, close to the waterways and a ten minute walk at most from the station. The staff were really helpful and the rooms well appointed. Thanks staff, we would like to come back one day.
"The BEST hotel I have ever stayed in!"
I have stayed at a lot of nice hotels and this is by far the best I have ever stayed at. This was our first time in Venice. Upon arrival we were upgraded to an executive suite with a gorgeous view of the canal (based on Hilton preferred status). The room was perfect size. I was traveling with my husband and our 2 adult daughters. The free breakfast in the morning was by far the most amazing buffet style breakfast I have ever been to. It offered everything you could think of as well as a very accommodating wait staff. We had access to the executive lounge which offered free snacks and drinks throughout the day. It was always well maintained, full and the wait staff was wonderful. The transportation to the other side of the canal was easy and affordable. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The concierge was extremely helpful and even tried to help me get a refund on my train tickets. Loved the location. It was on the other side of the canal away from the very busy tourist area. It was also within walking distance to some excellent restaurants. The only cons I would offer is to say that the Skyline rooftop bar as well as the hotel restaurants were very overpriced. We were next to a connecting room with a door and the neighbors next door to us were very loud. Was a little disappointed that the pool area was closed. You definitely get what you pay for, just be prepared to pay a little more for all of these wonderful accommodations. I would definitely stay here again!! We originally planned to stay 3 nights and extended our stay 2 more nights because we loved it so much!!
"You must swim in the rooftop pool as a priority!"
Great fun rooftop pool which is open until 8pm, so we were able to swim in the dark overlooking the Grand Canal and Venice itself! Not for the faint-hearted, it was freezing but totally worth it. The communal areas were quite standard but the hotel is in a super swish ex-factory and its architecture is really something.
