"Friendly staff and rooms under reno"
Initially stayed in the standard king room but got upgraded to an executive room as there was no hot water in my bathroom - tolerated a cold shower on the first night but couldn’t do it again in -1 degree weather. Everything was clean and neat in the executive room, however got woken up by construction noises happening on the upper level. The location of the hotel is superb, close to old town square and many cafes/restaurants. My stay wasn’t as pleasant as anticipated. If everything in the rooms were functional and free from renovation and construction noises, then I may consider returning.
"Under construction very noisy "
This hotel under a refurbish if you want to be woken to drilling and hammering stay here that includes part of the weekend. No one knew exactly what times they start or finish each day .The rooms are tired curtains falling down bath pug doesn’t work &2 broken light bulbs . Housekeeping a disaster . Sadly this hotel not what it’s cracked up to be staff are great try to fix everything and compensate for the noise. The lobby full of bus tour groups checking in and out repacking bags in the lobby not what I expect most hotels offer a space separate from public for tour groups. Sadly disappointed that the website never showed any construction when I booked this hotel months ago .
"Excellent location and great service"
We stayed here for three days and were very impressed by the hotel. Firstly, the location is ideal- it is very close to Old Town Square which has a number of great landmarks, and it is also near the Palladium shopping centre and a supermarket which was very convenient. The staff were also very helpful and polite. The hotel breakfast is perhaps one of the best I have had at a hotel- there were a number of options available and the food was constantly being refilled.
"Excellent location with fabulous attention to detail"
Disclaimer - I'm a loyal Hilton Honors member so I gravitate toward their properties. This being said, not all Hiltons are created equal and I must say this one one of the best ones I have stayed in. Pros - Location CANNOT be beat - 5 min walking to Old Town Square and the tram (we took tram 26) literally stops outside the hotel - Housekeeping - VERY attentive, rooms cleaned well every day - Concierge - Recommended a fabulous restaurant in an old bell tower for my birthday dinner - Personal touch - On my birthday I arrived back to my room to find a birthday card and a bottle of Champagne - this was a great way to start the evening! I thought this was a VERY nice touch! - Rooms were spacious - no they are not newly renovated but they are clean, functional, and well-kept - The bath towels were HUGE - this was great! Cons - Parking is expensive ($30/day) - they contract with an outside company - Bellman - Not around when we arrived; had to go in and ask then wait 10 minutes for help with luggage. When bellman arrived he was friendly and efficient - parked our car in the garage for us and brought the parking ticket up to our room. Bellman was right there when we departed. - Breakfast - Didn't actually eat but at $24/pp we couldn't justify the cost. - Eco-friendliness - As a whole the Hilton chain really needs to stop using all the small plastic bottles and instead institute a large bottle policy whereby they charge if the person removes the communal shampoo from the room. I recently stayed at a Hyatt that provided lovely designer shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in large pump containers and it was great (plus much easier to use than those minute conditioner containers!) All in all I woud DEFINITELY stay here again and plan to the next time I return to Prague!
"Excellent hotel, great quality experience in a fantastic city"
Close enough to the centre to be convenient without being too busy/noisy, this hotel is luxurious, classy and comfortable. We were welcomed as HH members by helpful staff and enjoyed a first class experience during our stay. The lounge is excellent, the breakfast was great and although the spa/pool is small it was an added extra that made our trip even more special. Would highly recommend especially to HH members.
