Located on Parliament Hill, Hilton Quebec is just a 20-minute drive to Quebec International Airport and five minutes from the train and bus stations. This Quebec City hotel is steps from all major tourist attractions and festivals. Enjoy proximity to the city's government and business attractions. Visit the Old Town to take in Quebec's culture and historical significance.
We stayed at a junior suite with the family. The service is excellent, the location is ideal, just outside the old city walls and the hotel is clean and well organized. I would highly recommend this hotel and this was our second visit in 3 years.
"Left a sour taste"
It is unfortunate how a hotel when given a 4 star rating feels it can offer less and charge more. No free breakfast. Quebec in general is a more expensive city and they really like to sock it to you in the parking department but you would think for the price of a four star hotel like the Hilton they would have free parking. We were told that valet parking was 30 plus dollars but when you drive and park your self ( our truck was to big for their underground parking and has to be parked a block and a half away) it was only 8 dollars on the weekend ( again the hotel said it would be 20) . The valets there were also informing people that the hotel validates your parking, to me that means free. Nope they just put that on your Bill. Our third issue was that if the hotel is going to repair or upgrade their elevators why wait till the beginning of busy tourist season' Why take out 3 of 5 elevators' This seemed not very thought out. If the hotel is going to put in you in a handicap accessible room maybe they should tell you that. I would think this would be the last rooms they would book in case it is needed for its purpose. In general we didn't enjoy this hotel and it's amenities. We can't see where the normal costs they charge are warranted or justified. If your rich and want to throw your money at a whole lot of nothing but a view and close walk to Old Quebec city than by all means. I would rather spend my money elsewhere for the History and a better view and not feel like because I have money to spend there that I am being taken advantage of.
Lovely stay outside of the old city. Entire staff very friendly and helpful during entire stay, as I do not speak French. Location conveniently located and far enough away from the busy streets of Old town Quebec.
"Perfect Location to explore Quebec City"
Loved the Quebec Hilton. It's right at the edge of Quebec's Old Town. Just a 5 minute walk. Our room was on the 22nd floor with a city view. We had access to the executive lounge. We had breakfast in the lounge which included eggs and one other hot dish, plus excellent pastries, cereals, fruit, etc. At night the selection included hot dishes such as scallops, crab legs, mussels. Also great soups. The quality of food was amazing. Our room was average size with 2 queen beds and a medium sized bathroom with a tub/shower. The staff at the hotel were excellent. So helpful with suggestions of what to do and help to set activities up. Would definitely stay there again.
"Nice Hotel and a great location"
We checked in and had several issues with our room. These were taken care of by Vincent and I think Emily. Very concerned about our visit and did their best to make things right. We were Executive Level and the young lady was very pleasant and took care of us. In fact, all the employees were very good. The only downside was the long waits at the counter to talk to an employee concerning check in ,check out or issues. One elevator was down but no big deal. Hop on bus stops out front but is overpriced but gives you a good overview. Nice City.
