Stayed here for 2 nights for a convention. Nice, clean environment, super friendly staff, and upbeat appearance. Restaurant was excellent and the parking (outdoors) was reasonably priced. My only complaint is that the bed was slightly soft (probably at the end of its life). I would stay here again if I needed a place near O'Hare.
"rosemont hilton review"
It was a quick but excellent stay. The hotel is very convenient to airport. Efficient shuttle service that runs on a tight schedule. The staff was friendly and as a Hilton Honors member i was given 2 bottles of water for my room which was appreciated after a long delayed flight.
Great location, nice room and friendly staff. Our room was cold and they provided us with a heater within 10 minutes of our request. My digital key only worked one time, so I got an actual key to use for the rest of the stay.
"Horrible Staff and ammenities"
The staff was very rude. When I was checking in, I was told to sign an agreement that we would keep the noise down with out video games as to not disturb our neighbors. The only problem is that your TV's lockout any possibility of using anything. When we asked the front desk about it, they told us there was nothing we could do and offered to locate us to another hotel nearby. The only problem was that every hotel in the area was sold out due to a convention. When we called the operator to ask to speak to someone in the IT department, we were told that wasn't going to happen and that there was nothing they were going to do about the TV's. I'm traveling there, making your hotel my residence for the weekend. The least you can do is allow us to use your TV's for our video game systems, instead of driving back home to use a spare TV. I was also really mad about the parking situation. When I arrived and checked in to the hotel, I was given a parking pass. The person at the front desk declined to inform me that you would be charging me $30/day. If that was the case, I would've given it back, and park at the convention center garage because it's cheaper and I can get my parking validated. I may come back to the convention next year, but I can assure you that I will not be staying at the Rosemont Hilton or any other Hilton again.
"Stayed here one night due to missed connection at Ohare. NEVER again!!"
I booked this on the fly because I needed to find a room quickly and late in the evening. Thought it would be up to Hilton standards. It was NOT. #1 The room rate was $350 per night. The hotel smelled like a dirty bar rag, there were bags of trash from people partying in rooms all down our hallway. There was some sort of video game convention going on in town and the hotel should have better staff the partying both in rooms and in the hallways. Two girls were sitting on the floor outside their room, clearly stoned out of their mind, hands trembling. The front desk staff was curt and a bit snobbish which is ironic because I've stayed at cleaner, budget hotels. The room itself was fine. Seemingly clean
