"I left my heart in San Fransisco"
Convenient to Chinatown. We ate the crap out of Lotus cakes and egg tarts. We had a fantastic view is the bay. I would stay again. Room service and restaurant were very pricey. Starbucks was half the price of one breakfast at the hotel. So we ate elsewhere.
Fantastic Hotel - we arrived and our room wasn't ready, (waiting for Virgin Atlantic cabin crew to check out) the lovely Guy on the Reception desk gave us a $25 voucher to spend in the Bar while we waited. The room we had great view of Coyte Hill and the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in.New carpet and very clean. Left maid $5 and she left a lovely note thanking us.Very close to Chinatown.
"HILTON SF Financial District"
Great location- Clean rooms and good customer service from staff. Make sure ask about room upgrades available because single room small. Conceirge staff very helpful maps, reservations, and directions! Great curb customer service
"Not as expected "
Good location but the hotel needs some updating. Lobby area is fancy but that's where it stops unless other rooms were better than ours that is. Lifts take forever to arrive, quite few rude guests (not hotels fault so just a passing comment). Rooms on the small side, stained sofa, leaking taps, ridiculously slow wifi and bedding which could do with adding whitener to the wash. Housekeeping was everyday so can't complain on that front. Didn't have much interaction with staff so can't comment. Windows were filthy, not what you'd expect from Hilton hotels!
"Nice Hotel in a Great Location"
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights at the beginning of July and arrived late at night. Check in was easy and the staff were pleasant. The room was dated but clean and tidy and was equipped with everything we needed. The location of this hotel is fantastic. Right next to Chinatown, a 10 minute walk from Union Square and a 25 minute walk from Fisherman's Wharf. If you don't feel like walking, you can catch a bus right out the front of the hotel. This place is in need of an upgrade but it is clean and tidy. The daily resort fee is irritating but they all seem to charge it in the States. Not sure what you are actually paying for. The resort fee covers the wifi cost so it is not actually free.
