"Window cleaner required"
I like the 70s style of the hotel but it really is surprisingly scruffy for a Hilton. I thought hospitality staff were supposed to be friendly and helpful in the USA - not here! Nice views - well there would be if the windows were clean
"Another Hilton NOT for Diamonds!"
A non-chalant check-in with no welcome for the status, and no upgrades offered ever, and unfortunately, I have stayed here quite a bit. The Executive Lounge is dumpy with bad service and stale or badly cooked food options. Rooms are old and smelly, and this time they claimed they had no king beds available either! Skip this property if you can!
"Bad customer service"
Could not get anyone to call to correct the issues I was having with room. I reached out over phone app numerous times with a corporate reply stating someone from the hotel would get back to me to help resolve and not one time did anyone get back to me... Will not stay here again...
"Good location, heat wave was tough"
The location of the hotel was great. The service was great. Especially at breakfast (Joe). The room was fine. While we were there there was a heat wave and the hallways were so hot. Also The Cloud was 100 degrees in there. I understand that you don't normally need A/C but you should have it just in case. Would stay there again.
"Great view of the bay, centrally located"
My wife and I enjoyed a four day weekend in San Francisco and are very happy with our choice of hotels. Here's what we liked: Great location right in between the Financial District & Chinatown. (Lots of great local restaurants right down the street) Great view of the bay from the 22nd floor. Housekeeping was very friendly & kept the room very clean. They even brought us toothpaste and razor upon our request. The room was a nice size, very relaxing. The front desk staff was very accommodating and the concierge staff assisted us with a ride back to the airport and stored out luggage. The bartenders are friendly and make a good drink. The lobby area very clean and inviting. Only one downer, the porter service. On three separate occasions we witness porters pushing people out of the way who were waiting to take the elevator up to their rooms and having their people go ahead of people that had already checked in. Each porter had a bad attitude and were rude the guests. Overall, a very nice stay and would stay there again. We look forward to our next visit.
