"Find a different hotel."
Parking garage has a very strong urine odor, employee checked me in without acknowledging diamond status. Last name and handed the keys. The windows are horribly dirty, I could barely see through my window. I overheard a few complain about the window and the worker agreed there has been a few complaints on it but nothing has been done. Will consider a different hotel for my future travels.
Room was nice and view in 5th floor was spectacular of Coit Tower. However the common areas and lobby is dated and not up to what one expects from a Hilton. Check in was a nightmare. We paid for the bed and breakfast. The next morning when we went the have breakfast they said we needed to pay. We spent a long time with several staff that insisted breakfast was not included. Finally after show our email confirmation they agreed. However the breakfast buffet was terrible. After all that food was not fresh and hot. Eggs seems liked they were powdered. Don’t pay for buffet. Just not up to the standards expected of Hilton. I have had better at a holiday inn.
"This hotel is gross"
I’m staying on the 6th floor and my room smells musty and like smoke. On top of that, the windows are so disgustingly dirty that it’s better to leave the hideous shades closed. To make matters worse, I can hear the person coughing next door and another person nearby flushing their toilet. Oh, and they charge $3 for bottled water, which should be FREE given what a rat hole this hotel is. Bye!
"Definitely NOT Hilton standards"
San Francisco was our last stop to an amazing US holiday, and so we decided to end our holiday by booking ourselves on the Executive floor of this hotel. On check in, we were told we had the City view...when we looked out of the window, we saw China town. While the check in and the lobby was decent, the rest of it was not the best. The corridor we walked down, to our room, was very very outdated. The room size was okay, but the bathroom was really small. There was a hole in a tile in the bathroom, paint peeling off the ceiling, air conditioner barely cooled down the room (we complained about it) etc. There is no pool, no gift shop in this hotel. We had access to the executive lounge - breakfast was okay...and there was happy hour from 5pm to 7pm. We were there from the 5th - 7th Jan...on the 5th, we went for happy hour. But on the 6th when we went there, the lounge was completely empty...we waited for atleast 15 mins...and then rang through to reception, who informed us that on the weekends, happy hour was moved to a restaurant downstairs, to promote the restaurant business. Anyway, off we went downstairs, only to be told that we were entitled to one drink per adult and one entrée to share. My husband who is a Hilton honors member spoke to a Staff member of the restaurant about this...and we were told that any more drinks would have to be paid for. We told him that the previous night at the executive lounge, we could have as many drinks as we wanted...but he argued saying that it was not possible as drinks at the Executive lounge too was to be paid for. We decided not to argue any more, and just left after we had our "one complimentary" drink. I have to say...we were quite disappointed with our stay...definitely not the impression that I had of a Hilton hotel.
"very dated and needs urgent refresh."
This hotel has a good location. however the rooms are very dated and the hotel needs an urgent refresh to meet hilton standards. The reception area is quite reasonable. howere the exec floor that we were located on the room was sub par.
