"Quiet, clean room"
This hotel is clean and quiet. The staff is helpful and responsive. The physical hotel room is way to cramped for this American. I travel extensively in Europe and Asia and understand the differences in room size but just because a room is small doesn't mean It should be uncomfortable. The bathroom is so small the door actually gets in the way. Minimal counter space for bathroom stuff. Desk area also is minimal. The room does have a refrigerator and with the executive room the mini bar is free. The location of the hotel is not conducive to walking to good restaurants. The wifi connection was not always good, it may have been dependent on how many people were using it in the hotel. If you just need a hotel for one night it's probably OK, but for an extended stay it is not someplace I will stay again.
The Hotel location is out of city and station is little far. They provide pick up and drop to Naple rail station evey 1hour but big gap in lunch time.Rooms are good with Toilet. Service is good. Breakfast is super.Restaurent on site good
"Practical Stopover "
I stayed here with my husband and 2 kids (aged 2y & 4y) for one night, as our flight got into Naples quite late. We used it as a cheapish stopover before heading onto Sorrento & the Amalfi Coast. The hotel was a 10min cab ride from the airport. The room was basic but clean. We paid extra for breakfast which was convenient because of the children, but not the best in terms of quality. The hotel provided a free shuttle to the central train station, from where it was 3 stops on the metro to the ferry port where we caught a hydrofoil to Sorrento.
"Good hotel with helpful staff"
There are definitely pros and cons with this hotel and how it suits you definitely depends on what you want to do when you're in Naples. First the cons - it is in the business district of Naples, which is not the greatest location if you're a tourist who wants to wander around the delights of the city. The surrounding area is run down and feels less than safe after dark. Everything nearby shuts down after 6pm so there is no choice of local restaurants except for the hotel and an adjacent pizzeria. The food at both is OK, although the choice is limited if you're staying for more than a couple of days. The pros - it is a Holiday Inn, so the service is excellent and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. A number of rooms have been refurbished and you need to make sure that you get one of these. We complained about how dark and dismal our allocated room was and agreed on an upgrade to a refurbished room with a balcony and magnificent views of Vesuvius. If you are just using the hotel as a base to explore Pompeii and beyond, then it works well if you have hired a car. You can be on the main road network within 5 minutes and avoid all of the horrors of driving in Naples itself.
"Ok hotel scary surroundings"
I am grateful for the shuttle to Naples train station but the entire surroundings including train station is dingy and full pickpocketers. Lobby was nice. Restaurant was decent. Shower/bath felt dirty but think it's just old. Stayed 1/2 day and flew out next day. Would never return to Naples.
