"Charm, Comfort, Elegance, Service"
We were so pleasantly surprised by this property. It is one of the prettiest, unique hotels we ever stayed at. Lots of the inside is outside, with patios and an interior lounge building. Oranges, apples, candies filling bowls - yours for the taking. Innovative cuisine and presentation. Lovely breakfast - buffet which includes made-to-order items. Wonderful, friendly service. We will certainly stay here again when in Seville and do recommend it without hesitation!
"A calm oasis in a delightful city"
It is so nice to visit a hotel that reflects, in its style the country you are visiting. Small courtyards within the hotel are ideal to relax in after a busy day sightseeing. The bedrooms are comfortable and well furnished. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful
"Lovely quiet hotel"
We had a comfortable deluxe room off a pretty and traditional courtyard. Breakfasts were very good and the staff were helpful and pleasant, with good suggestions for eating out. We would certainly stay there again.
"Perfect location! Perfect small hotel!"
The rooms were lovely. The staff was excellent and very helpful! The location is right in the heart of Sevilla. Easy to walk to everything. We parked our car for our entire stay. They have safe and secure parking for free.
"Charming, but with some major flaws"
We had originally booked four nights at this hotel based on it being a Starwood property where I could use my points (I travel weekly for work) and the positive online reviews. When we checked in for our first night we found the front desk staff to be helpful and very nice but ultimately we were disappointed in being placed in a room on the ground level right next to the courtyard with a loud party which did not seem to be ending soon. After a long day of travel we opted to move hotels so we could get a good nights sleep. Our stay for our the first two nights then was at the Hotel Alfonso XIII and you cant get better than that for 5 star accommodations and location. Therefore after returning to Las Casas Del Rey we had that as a comparison point. Location is not great honestly and the rooms are noisy and outdated as others have mentioned. We can hear everything (and I mean everything) in the room next to us. The hotel pool area is small and service was predominately absent. All that said there are some charming qualities to the hotel such as the decor and the service is overall great - with the front desk going out of their way to pack us a picnic for an early tour we had the next morning. For those that are SPG Platinum the perks are not there at all. As point on comparison we received full breakfast buffet each morning at Hotel Alfonso and here it was 22 Euro per person.
