"An amazingly warm welcome, on every ocassion"
What makes this hotel is the way guests are treated. From our very first encounter with Moussa on reception when we arrived and through our whole stay, we felt welcomed and valued as visitors. Our room was clean, functional, with an amazing jet shower system. As with all boutique hotels nowadays though, the shower was "integrated" as part of the room. The hotel is fabulously located for the Luxembourg Gardens, a lovely place to wander through on your way down to the Notre Dame and Pont Neuf, and an even better place to just sit in and watch the world go by... and if you're in more of a hurry in your sightseeing, its on Metro Line 12, next to the Notre Dame du Champs Metro station - very handy for a visit to Montmatre. If there were one criticism of the hotel, it might be that, if you were a really large person, you could well get stuck in the "faclities". The corrider through to the shower, and the toilet particular are all a bit snug. We also had building works on the building opposite our room which, wasn't the hotel's fault, but it did mean checking the coast was clear of scaffolders before getting out of bed in the morning! I would certainly consider staying in this hotel again, if only because it would feel like visiting old friends.
"Excellent service and location"
Location, cleanliness, and service are the most important things to me when choosing a hotel. The location of this hotel is very convenient, within walking distance to the Catacombs, Montparnasse, Luxembourg Gardens, restaurants and more depending on your walking expectations. When you don't want to walk as much, there are multiple metro lines within a few blocks that will take you anywhere. The service was personal, considerate, informative, and felt like a small family run hotel (which it may actually be). Each person at the front desk asked what we did that day, how we were enjoying our stay and Paris, and provided recommendations. They're proud of their hotel and their city. I did find it weird that the front desk collects your room key as you leave. It felt a little odd coming in late at night and waiting for someone to get to the desk, but it never took long. The rooms are small, but clean and well equipped. The shower was lovely after exploring all day. The beds could be a little more comfortable, but are not bad. I absolutely recommend this hotel for couples who are active explorers of the city vs. hotel room relaxers who may need more space.
Central Location, walking distance to everything, right beside a metro station, lovely clean hotel room, amazing shower and the most friendly and welcoming staff who spent time with us each day talking and explaining how to get around, what metro stops to take, where to eat/visit etc. Eugene on the front desk was a gentleman 10/10
"Good location, most friendly staff"
Hotel is situated on very good location, easy access from airport and to all major attractions. The staff is the most friendly and helpful you could imagine. Rooms are nice, although some parts could use some refurbishment, e.g. the carpet.
"Wonderful service stylish room"
We had a very warm welcome from the concierge who provided a lot of tips and maps. Our room while not large was very stylish with a gorgeous bed from which we could look out the window to the sky. We asked for a kettle, adapter and cups no problem at all. Very quiet location from which you can easily walk to one of the most beautiful gardens with the original Statue of Liberty. I would definately recommend this hotel our fav in Paris.
