"Pre-Cruise Hotel Stay"
Hotel Arts (Ritz Carlton) is located adjacent to the beach and only about a mile from old Barcelona. We stayed here for three nights prior to our cruise. The accommodations were great, especially since we had access to the club level. The club level amenities were the best we have ever experienced at a Ritz. Food servings and beverages were top of the line. Staff friendliness and helpfulness were the best we have ever experienced.
"Top end but not perfect "
Sadly I spent much of my two day stay in the subterranean conference rooms. The outside spaces are divine, the rooms are well appointed (some have much better views than others!), the service is good. Points for improvement: The layout is confusing and there is little directional signage so you’re reliant on the (admittedly plentiful) staff. The rooms have some odd touches “romantic bath” anyone' Oddly the food is also disappointing for a high end hotel, but we were being catered en masse so that may be why.
"Wonderful stay in Barcelona!!"
I recently stayed at the Hotel Arts Barcelona with friends to celebrate our 50th birthdays, and had the MOST INCREDIBLE customer service at the hotel. Everyone is very friendly and personable and makes you feel so special. The Bellman Elias was especially friendly and helpful when our flight was cancelled, and he sent a bottle of Cava up to our room. Thank you Elias. Thank you to all the staff for making our birthday vacation fantastic!! I will definitely be back to stay again. Clean rooms, beautiful hotel and pool, and the most wonderful staff.
"Worth the Stay....once Barcelona calms down...right now I would not go !"
This Hotel did not disappoint. We stayed on the Club Level and it was well worth the price not only in the availability of advise, food, drinks and a private level of comfort. Right now I would not go to Barcelona, the Civil War going on with the recession from Spain is a MESS ! The crowds stopped all cab, harbor and movement in the City. They blocked credit card services with some kind of device and if you didn't have cash you couldn't buy anything or eat in restaurants. They made it a nightmare to get around to see the sights and honestly I just would not support Barcelona right now. Go to Madrid, they were a CLASS ACT, no unrest, just gorgeous architecture and lovely people. But the Hotel Arts, down the road would be the place to stay IF you decided to go right now.
"Outstanding in Every Respect"
Beautiful hotel, with food and service to match. Staff are really well trained and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel for business. I'm not sure I would use it as a family hotel. Give the management a bonus! That's where it starts.
