Average on everything except the reception staff. They were very helpful. Everything else needed improvement. It could do with a renovation. Book it only if you can get it with 100 euro including breakfast.
"Near the train station but that's it"
Average hotel, 5 min walk from the train station (but to the not nice side). There's stairs that you have to climb with your suitcase to get the elevator. Rooms are clean, breakfast is ok. The environment is not cosy at all.
"Excellent location & friendly staff! "
I came her for 1 week to attend a dermatological conference & the location of the hotel was excellent because it's near to cornavin station which is the main transport station. Also, i would like to thank one of the most wonderful receptioiests there, her name is "Tatiana". She has been sooooo cooperative, very helpful & smiling all the time ❤️ Finally, i want to draw your attention that ironing mashines are not available in the rooms for safety reasons. You have to go the 8th floor as there is an ironing room (take your key card with you).
"Don't arrive late!"
First of all the good bits - it's a pleasant modern hotel in a good location a few hundred yards from the train station. We arrived around 10:40pm following a delayed flight from Edinburgh to Geneva. Tired and hungry, we were looking forward to a late night in-room supper. Not to be however - amazingly, this 4 star hotel in a major European city doesn't offer room service after 10pm! We managed to find a nearby restaurant (Diva) which saved the day, but we really expected more of our hotel - it wasn't cheap and it didn't live up to our expectations of modern hotel service in Europe.
"Great staff and well located"
Stayed at this Hotel for 2 nights over a weekend. I was joined by my son, who studies in Montreux. Fairly new Hotel with small but welcoming rooms. This Hotel is located very close to the Geneva main Station which was very convenient for my son and me. I was travelling on business and had 2 bags but was able to walk easily to the Hotel. The staff at the reception are very friendly and helpful with directions. I also found the Hotel quick at reverting back on queries I had before we reached there. While the area near the Lake is nicer to stay in (if you get the views in your room), Geneva itself was surprisingly very small and you could walk from the Station to the lake in 7-10 minutes. There was a kettle in the room and the AC was adequate too. The only inconvenience was the absence of an Iron in the room. They have a room on the top floor where you need to go to if you ant to iron something. I found that a bit strange but better than nothing at all. We had a room facing the street and it was very quiet with double glazed windows. We didn't have Breakfast in the Hotel so can't comment on that. Fairly good stay for the price I paid.
