"No air conditioning!"
On the last night of a trip, the main thing I want is a good night's sleep before facing a flight home next morning. At Axor Barajas I had the worst sleep of my trip because it was so hot in the room. We asked reception (where the air con was turned on by the way) if we could have air con in the room. Answer was no, it is now winter and Company policy is to turn off air con to the rooms. This in spite of there having been a mini heatwave in Spain over the last couple of weeks with temperatures of up to 30 degrees. Tried to sleep with the window open and the city noise made it very difficult. We have stayed here in the past but this is the last time we want anything to do with Axor, a company that does not care about its clients.
"Good business hotel"
This was a good business hotel, with a Gym, a Pool and regular shuttles to Airport and major offices nearby. The hotel is also close walk to the mall nearby. The staff are friendly, but I should admit that the dinner menu is not very elaborate.
"Worst staff period"
When we were waiting to check in the staff members were telling a group they could see on the video that they were robbed and who did it. But said they would do nothing and to call the police. ....We booked our airport shuttle for 8am. We arrived at 752 to see the shuttle driving out the driveway. After 10 minutes of bull from the front desk staff they told us they re eiwed the tape and we had arrived at 805. The clock on the wall now only read 802. When I asked how we could possibly have arrived after the current time and have been already talking to them for 10 minutes. Was told too bad wait for next shuttle in 30 to 45 minutes. Our room was so hot you could barely breath and no way to turn the heat off or turn the ac on, even though there were controls in the room. Take my advice, this is not a 4 star property. Its a 2 star at best with lousy customer service. Waste of money and time to stay here. Will never stay here again.
"Nice Modern Hotel"
I booked this hotel for its closeness to the airport. One drawback is the lack of restaurants in this area, your choice is to either eat at the hotel or take a taxi. Hotel does provide shuttle to the airport at fixed hours. Room is modern and nice.
"Air conditioning doesn’t work at noght"
Turns out you don’t have option of turning the air conditioner on at night, it does not function. After trying to figure it out myself, calling the front desk, and repeatedly being hung up on, I trekked downstairs at midnight to ask how to rectify the problem. The front desk attendant said the air conditioner is not turned on at night, only the heat. So if it’s been 80-something degrees that day too bad; if you’re 8 months pregnant too bad; if you simply don’t want to sleep in a pool of your own sweat too bad! If you packed your ear plugs you can sleep with the window open.
