"Modern hotel, convenient to Madrid Airport"
We spent two nights here at the end of our month-long visit to Spain. The hotel is clean and and modern. There is a parking garage under the hotel if you have a car, and they offer a shuttle to and from the airport. This worked out well for us, as we unloaded our rental car the day before our departure. I returned it that day and took the shuttle back to the hotel, then both of us took the shuttle the next morning. It was much more convenient than trying to return a car on the day of departure. The shuttle starts running at 5 am and takes about 15 minutes. We did not eat at the hotel, but there is a grocery store in a shopping center about a 10 minute walk away and a convenience store in a gas station just up the street. My only complaint was that the hotel doesn't appear to have luggage carts. What kind of airport hotel doesn't have luggage carts'
"An ok otpion if you have to catch a flight but not ideal for longer stays"
The good - the family room was very large and well planned. There was a WiiZone for the kids which they were very happy about. We also liked the gym and the proximity to the mall. The van service was impeccable unlike other reviews I have read before my trip. The not so good - We asked for a non smoking room but the room smelled of smoke. We had to sleep with open windows because of it. They should add a van to move it to 15 minutes frequency. 30 min is a long time to wait on the cold. Also, there were more people than seats
"Good 4 stars"
Being close to the airport was a lifesaver. The hotel was nice, just the service was a little off due to communication difficulties. Overall I'm giving this hotel 4 stars and I would stay there again for sure.
"Decent hotel, but further from the airport than you may expect"
This was my first stay here as my regular hotel was full. I arrive late evening into T4. The courtesy bus arrived within 10 mins or so, but it seemed to take an eternity to get to the hotel, going through each of the other terminals to collect guests. Fortunately, room service was served until midnight, so I could at least eat. The hotel room was of a decent standard, comfortably enough, I slept well.
"Close to airport and Convention Centre but little to no undertsanding of English"
Hotel close to airport and convenient to convention centre. Rooms were a good size however no iron or ironing board. You need to ask several times for one if you need it. Good beds and block out curtains in the room guarantee a good night sleep. Breakfast was good but difficult to get more than one coffee served. Dinner menu was limited but good also. Apart from the shopping centre nearby there really isn't much around. Majority of staff do not speak English so it can be difficult to ask questions or get any information. This is a shame given the proximity to the airport you would assume more staff would be able to understand English. We had a company meeting in one of their meeting rooms and when I asked at reception where the meeting room was, I was greeted with blank looks and given a map to the city of Madrid! If you plan on ordering room service, expect the same. I ended up only ordering the burger as that's all they could understand and then spent 5 minutes trying to get them to understand the room number. If you plan on getting into the city then its bus and train rides so we caught a taxi at about 22 euro one way. Would recommend this hotel if you have a stop over for a night. Yes, book the shuttle when you need to go to the airport otherwise the driver my not take you. Stay would have been better if staff could understand English.
