"Excellent location, staff, clean"
The location is excellent, right near FDR metro station. Easy to get anywhere fast. Walkable to Louvre and Notre Dame. Staff was very accommodating. Rooms were small, but clean and renovated. The street noise can be loud-ask for a courtyard room.
"Lovely hotel in Paris"
My wife and I booked this four star hotel for our vacation in Paris The hotel is perfectly located one block from the champs elysses avenue and one block for two different metro lines. The staff was very friendly and fluent in English when needed. The room was beautiful, clean, spacious and up to date. Definitely recommend this hotel to whoever is coming to Paris
"The photos being advertised for this property is false... true dissapointment"
The front desk staff was sweet, and the bellman (super helpful) The breakfast was horrible and the waitresses seemed bothered when asked for anything. One of the ladies actually told me to brew my own tea in the pot ( when I requested for tea), and became annoyed when i over poured the herbal tea in the brewing pot. Futhermore, the hotel furniture is very misplaced, the Rosay Bar looks nothing like it does in the photo at allllllll, true disappointment as my partner and I was thrilled (but sadly disappointed). Lastly, I slept with my door open (unlocked) yes, I was not able to lock it because the lock was broke. I mean the actual lock fell out of the door, i complained multiple times, but the staff ignored my request for safety. This property deserves 3 stars and that's just for the comfort of the bed. I paid around 380 USD for my room. Please understand I'm writing this review so you guys can improve, as I am in the business and understand both sides of some short comings, but somethings are unacceptable.
Great hotel, location and staff. Room was very nice and modern with nice space. Short walk to Champs Elysee and metro. Great breakfast as well and very friendly amd helpful staff. A definite must visit
We stayed at Hotel Beauchamps back in August. We booked the hotel for its location. It is like 2 blocks form the Champs-Elysees, which is super convenient. We took the train over from London and it was maybe a 15 euro cab ride from the train station. The cabbie had no trouble finding the place. The staff was very friendly, when we checked in. They did bring up our bags to the room for us. The elevator is quite small and will not fit many people and bags so something to keep in mind. Also it is a kind of slow. That is just the charm of being in an older building. However, you do not want to be running late and then have to wait for the elevator as it may open and already be filled and you will have to wait for the next one. It's not a huge deal, just something to note. Having traveled extensively in Europe, I knew what to expect in terms of room size. The room was small, but very comfortable. it also had A/C which is a must in the summer (although it was not too hot when we were there). There was a safe in the closet as well as a Juliet balcony. Our room faced the main street outside the hotel. The bathroom was actually much larger than we anticipated. It was very modern and looked like it had been recently renovated. The shower was very spacious and my husband liked that they provided large bottles of soap. We also liked that there was a window you could open to allow the steam to escape. One thing that was annoying was the hairdryer in the bathroom kept over heating if you turned it to high. I had to keep the window open and keep it on low to work. It was annoying at times when getting ready. Overall, we found the room quiet and never heard any noise on the streets. The hotel does have a restaurant where they serve breakfast for a fee. We choose not to eat there. There is a Paul's down the street as well as a french bakery. Also if you walk a few blocks on the Champs Elysees, there is a Starbucks as well as a Marks and Spencer's so plenty of options around. We did have a drink one night in the bar. Also for dinner, there are lots of restaurants on the side streets around the hotel. We did try out bunch and all the food was very good. The other thing is, they tend to be cheaper since they are not directly on the Champs Elysees. Overall, we would recommend this hotel. We are looking to stay at a different place on our next trip as we would like to be closer to St Germain. However, we would also not hesitate to stay here again.
