"Absolutely Amazing Hotel"
My wife and I were needing a place to stay pre-cruise and wanted to stay in something a bit different so we chose the Hotel Beaux Arts in Miami. From the moment we stepped into the hotel we were greeted by pleasant staff and guided to the 39th floor for check-in into Beaux Arts. We immediately hit it off with Ethan the concierge and discovered that we had both grown up in the same part of the country. Ethan showed us to our room which had an absolutely immaculate view of the Miami Bay. For people who enjoy high tech, this room will not disappoint. Some of the cool gadgets include a TV that mechanically turns toward the bed when turned on, a TV in the bathroom mirror, surround sound, Jacuzzi tub, a faucet that changes color as the temperature of water changes, and a video screen that shows you who is at the door. Amenities available to guests include a golf simulator, billiards, and a virtual bowling alley (which is kind of like a cross between a real bowling alley and Wii Bowling). All of that and I haven't even mentioned the great location. Besides all of the grocery stores and restaurants nearby, the hotel is only a short 15 minute walk to the Bayside Marketplace. I have to say that I have never stayed in another hotel to measures up the Hotel Beaux Arts.
"The rooms are state of the art.."
I called to tell the hotel I was running late and I was informed I did not have a reservation. I was asked to get a confirmation # and after a scramble to find my contacts..the reservation was located. I was given a room next to the elevator. which something I thought I had in my profile as not preferred. The remote to the Bang Olufson TV was not for human use. The engineer stated "no one can figure it out" My door jammed when the dead bolt was used and it was very hard to unlock and get out. It was scary. My illy coffee machine was very nice but they gave me powdered creamer. This is something only cheap hotels do. No splenda, stevia..just sugar and Sweet and Lo. Breakfast: The oatmeal was tasteless but pastries quite good. Very poor selection of yogurt. The pool and the view was exquisite..No one at the desk after 11 pm and I was told staff came on at 7am but no staff until close to 8am. I was told at 1pm when I requested my car it would be 25 minutes because it was rush hour. ..yes rush our at 1pm.I wanted to love this extra modern luxury hotel but I didn't.
"One of the finest suites I've seen"
Stayed at the Warhol suite on the northeast corner of the 40th floor and I have to say it's probably one of the best hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. From the decor, to the sleek modern appliances, to the automated features of the room, it was impressive. You add the views, and it was just a magnificent experience. Service and attention to our requests were top notch. Can't recommend this hotel enough!
"Greatest Stay ,"
What a gorgeous place, impecable conditions, well educated personnel, great view, best room ever, will come back anytime if condition permits, only negative the parking price $45, Traffic due to construction nearby is lousy, worst than being at Midtown Manhattan.
"Pre cruise stay"
Stayed Nov 15th for overnight before cruise. The hotel is as advertised. We found the room we stayed in. Corner king room with a bay view, to be just perfect. The room was clean. The view was great. We had traveled all day and we're enjoying the room and view so we ordered room service. We ordered via iPad tablet provided. Food we ordered was brought to room hot and right at the time we requested. We will recommend this property to any one who asks. Great job Marriott. Look forward to visit in the future.
