When we checked in at three o'clock there was only one person on reception which caused a back log of people. Our room was 424 which was quite a hike from the lifts. Breakfast was really good and the staff were pleasant and very helpful. Overall it was a clean but dated hotel.

Great hotel with fantastic location so reasonably priced breakfast was nice but could do with cappuccino machine and a little more choice needed but it's location is well worth considering I would definitely stay there again
"More 2star than 4star terrible room and staff"
Avoid it it's aweeful .On arrival The front desk employee on realising my partner was male was rude + unhelpful.We got what must be the worst room in the hotel .The toilet broken,the safe was also out of order and the floorboards In the room were so noisy it woke my partner each time I went to the bathroom I spoke to a different guy on reception next morning .He noted everything and said it would be fixed while I was out What happened' Nothing Rang reception 10 times no reply... gave up and went down to be told nobody could do anything today but that would look at it tomorrow. We have four more days here. Worst hotel I've ever stayed at
Great hotel. Room was nice and a good size, only things lacking in the room were a kettle (we took a travel kettle) and a do not disturb label for the door. The room had a fridge which was the perfect size for some milk and wine! Location was fantastic with lots of shops, bars and restaurants outside. We checked in at 8pm which was no problem. The hotel staff were pleasant and said hello as they passed us. I think the other reviewers possibly expected overly friendly or American style greetings. I would definitely stay there again.

The location is really good! Close to shopping, bars and sightseeing. The service at the hotel is really bad! The receptionist did´t know how to smile. The service was very slow. They had no idea who was the next in line. It was not like this just one time. It was like this every day! We stayed there for 4 days. And every day we sat in the backyard to take a glass of wine. It could take up to 20 minutes just to have a glass of wine. And it was like this every time. We was 11 people, and everybody had the same experience. Every day! The breakfast was poor. It is better to eat outside the hotel somewhere. The toilet at my room was dirty/had some dark spots. But it was not possible to clean it. My group had 4 rooms. 2 rooms to the backyard. Every morning (early) we woke up because of lot of people in the backyard. We could not close the window, because it was no air in the room. And no aircondition. One room was on first floor, and the window was on Kurfürstendamm. Al lot of noise during the whole night. Not possible to sleep even with air plugs. They asked for another room. The receptionist was not very friendly to them, but at last they got a new room. That room was really good! No noise. And aircondition. The wifi worked now and then.
