"Nice but cramped"
The place is perfectly situated in the center of the city . We where looking for a new hotel for our frequent stays in the City and asked for a guided tour of the place. The impression we got was a good one but rather cramped
"Awesome location hotel and staff!!!!"
The staff was soooo helpful and fantastic. Rooms were very nice and affordable and location was the best! Only steps away from the Spanish steps and many other attractions. Great restaurants all around! Arranged transportation, restaurants, etc
"Home away from home."
We try to book a hotel based on the following reviews. 1. Location 2. Friendliness of staff. 3 what attractions are walking distance. 4. Price. 5. Room comfort. We stayed June 8 thru June 12 According to the reviews we read,Condotti, met all 5. So we decided to book. This is no further from the truth. Those 5 elements met and exceeded our expectations. As far as location, we did not take public transport anywhere. All we did , we did walking. In 5 nights, I would say, you name it, we were there. Since staying at the Annex, taking the keys to the front desk, seemed a little annoying. But after the 1st day we looked forward to taking the keys, getting advice from the staff and we got to know them better. So, that only negative point, eventually became a positive. There are restaurants all over, and only 1 /12 blocks away from Spanish steps. The Staff' Daniela, Fabio, Romolo, Vladimiro, Are the friendliest and knowledgeable. They arranged one of our tours, gave us advice on places to eat, and places to visit which were off the beat. They also arranged our trips to and from Airport. Our Flight landed early and we arrived Hotel near 930 and they had a room ready for us. Overall the staff is 5 stars and very friendly. They all speak English very well. The room we had was very comfortable. Large bed, a little on the firm side. Bathroom more than adequate and many outlets to charge your phones. We faced a street which was vibrant with people, restaurants, pharmacy, Gelato stores etc. The soundproof window kept away all the noise, and not once was the outside noise bothersome. The walls seem to be thin and you might hear your neighbors, but that was not a nuisance. Since the location was so fabulous , we decided to skip hotel breakfast and had breakfast in the many restaurants around the area. Hotel wifi is free and pretty reliable. Finally, for the time of the year, and us booking in such short notice, the price was right! Important to know that when checking out, if taking a hotel arranged taxi, you must pay in cash, As well as the city room tax directly to the hotel. I definitely recommend this hotel. We consider ourselves lucky to have found this place, and even luckier to have met the staff. We definitely will be back.
"Great Central Location & Friendly Staff"
Excellent boutique hotel This hotel is located near everything you want to see in Ancient Rome. The staff led by Vladimir, Fabio and the rest of the staff were extremely friendly, warm, and very welcoming. welcoming . Vladimir also assisted and arranged having a private car pick us up from port Civitavecchia from our cruise and then after oir four night stay at the hotel arranged a car for the airport. Breakfast was great as well . My wife and I can't say enough about how it a was truly a great experience . Our room was at the floor with a great terrace as well. Everyone associated with the Condotti made our stay a wonderful and relaxing experience. Will definitely not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. 6 stars A++++
""My Kind of Place""
What we liked most about this hotel was it's location, tucked away in a side street so close to everything. The hotel arranged for our airport pickup which was a great help when we were so jet-lagged. We had asked for a room with a terrace overlooking the street. A tiny elevator took us to the top floor. The room was modest but greatly enhanced by a beautiful terrace where we could enjoy the sights and sounds and feel part of the neighbourhood. Breakfast was good and the staff always pleasant. We would definitely go back to the Condotti Hotel.
