"Outstanding world class hotel"
My parents and I stayed for eight nights in suites 105 and 107 and we could not have been more happy with the Suites, the service and the hotel amenities. Suites: Tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds, large bathrooms with excellent separate shower and bathtub plus bidet toilet. Up to date technology with lovely Bang and Olufson TVs and WIFI. Both our suites faced Kongs Nytorv and had access to a beautiful (also spotless) balcony featuring small bistro tables and chairs. Air-conditioning worked perfectly and the soundproofing from exterior noise was super. Loved these Suites ! Service: Every member of staff that I encountered was multilingual, friendly and professional. Whoever looks after the staff training has done an outstanding job. Dining: Breakfast was a lovely buffet along with excellent a la carte options. Sadly, we did not have a chance to have lunch or dinner at Marchal, but we certainly enjoyed our breakfasts. Overall: This hotel deserves every one of its 5 stars and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
This is probably the nicest hotel in Copenhagen within walking distance of everything. We had a junior sweet with a lovely balcony overlooking the street and square. Always lots going on and a great spot for our morning coffee
"Top quality hotel in Wonderful Copenhagen"
We recently spent two nights at this fabulous hotel in the heart of Copenhagen. Very calm and classy establishment, impeccable yet subtle service and perefectly located for the key sights of Copenhagen. Everything was within walking distance. Right now the view from the hotel is not great due to the construction work on a new metro - but no discernible noise - so would not be put off. Highly recommend it!
"a great hotel - very expensive"
Myself and my wife are just back from staying in this luxurious hotel. It is very nice, very central and the staff are lovely. My rating is low because when I went to pay the price was eye-wateringly expensive and my wife had thought that she had booked it for a fraction of the cost ( and that confusion was caused before we visited freetown Christainia) Our fault I suppose, but beware. The danish krona prices can confuse also. Anyway we're still solvent, just. Otherwise Copenhagen is a great open sophisticated pretty city. The food is delicious but dear. I recommend the canal tour but the sightseeing bus is a slow bore - walk or cycle instead if you are able. The paper island food hall is worth a visit
"Very central location but a little bit noisy"
We are staying at the Hotel Angleterre now. It is a leading Hotel but the bathrooms are not up to standard of leading Hotels. We have a superior Junior suite and a tiny bathroom with one sink and no place to put your things. The room is nice. The breakfast buttet is very pleasant. There is a nice Spa. All the staff is very friendly. the whole Hotel is very nicely redone.
