Beautiful hotel with excellent service, location is fairly convenient, close to lots of restaurants and shopping streets. Worth the money for sure!Comment of Z. Nicole , Australia the 2015-05-22
"Large rooms for Japanese hotel"
These are probably the largest room I have had in Japan with two double beds a seating area and desk. Entrance to the hotel is on ground floor Reception is on 2nd floor Breakfast is on 25th floor Rooms are from the 26th floor upwards Breakfast you had a choice of Western or Japanese. The Western breakfast had a choice of omelette, eggs Benedict or healthy (granola or cereal). Typical Japanese it was still many additional dishes including soup. Japanese was just a set menu but was still delicious. As you expect of Japanese hotels the curtains and blinds were controlled by switch by the bed or on the wall. The bathrooms came with complementary toothbrushes, razors (actually good enough to use) and all the other bits you would expect. Tea and coffee were complimentary. Very well stacked bar but 5 star pricing. The shower was very powerful - like standing in a deluge. There was also a separate bath. English newspaper was delivered each day - Japan Times Hotel restaurant seemed vary expensive but plenty of more reasonably priced facilities in the neighbourhood. Service was VERY attentive even more than you normally expect for Japanese hotels
"Amazed by the View, but have to walk a bit from Umeda Station"
The room I stayed have a very good city view, daylight and night view. Surrounding easy to look for food, but you still have to walk a bit from Umeda Station (that's the only setback). But they have direct airport transfer buses departing from the first floor of this hotel, which is also a good point for us to catch early flight to Kansai Airport. The overall room and lobby of the hotel is very classic style.
"Elegant hotel in the heart of Kita/Umeda"
We booked a room at Hotel Hankyu International at the last minute, and because we stayed on a Tuesday evening we saved A LOT. The hotel is a large, yet elegant, hotel centrally located in Kita/Umeda, within walking distance from Umeda and Nakatsu stations. We stayed in a standard double room on the 29th floor which gave us a beautiful view over Osaka. The room and bathroom were both clean, and the bathroom was also huge and very luxurious. The bed was the comfiest bed we had during our travels around Japan, and the hotel staff were very friendly. We would definitely stay here again in future!
Only one word can describe this hotel that is PERFECT, I stay at this hotel only for 1 night. the experience was amazing, we arrive there early in the morning to place our luggage. and came back around 6pm we get a complementary room upgraded by the receptionist and was personally escort by the bell girl to our room. They gave us a room orientation and show us around the facilities. All i can say is a very personalize service and the hotel staff is very details. Love the service a lot.
Stayed here in April for 6 nights and can say I was very very impressed. The classic style of the hotel is beautiful and the Japanese style suite was amazing. The view from the room and the tub was stunning. The staff are very polite and tend to your every needs. We were able to go everywhere by taxi as they have taxis directly running from the hotel. The location is also very convenient as it's a 10 minute walk to umeda / Osaka station. I also loved the shuttle bus service to the airport that's available and as the hotel is the first stop for the shuttle bus you get first pick for seats. The hotel will help you buy tickets so no stress. I loved the Starbucks downstairs of the hotel and really good restaurants on the basement floor. I would not hesitate to come back here again, beautiful - luxury hotel.
