"Lovely hotel "
Nice fresh clean rooms, all recently redecorated. Free mini bar-soft drinks only. Good breakfast and served till late on a weekend. Friendly staff and good facilities. Would stay here again and recommend to others.
The restaurant was excellent for all meals and there was no problem in altering items on the menu to accommodate my dietary needs. Although there was no view, the hotel is only a couple of minutes walk from the docks where you can see the enormous cruise liners. The size of the bedroom was adequate and the bed was comfortable.
"Liked this hotel"
This hotel fit our needs very well. Located on Chapel St. in a quiet area about a 15 minute walk to the Albert Dock and a few blocks away from Mathew Street. Clean and up todate. The team at the front desk went out of their way to help us with a reservation for a visit to The Casbah. We had breakfast there and also an evening meal which was very good. They seem to have a lot of employees in the dining room especially at breakfast time. We had the buffet style breakfast which had a lot of choice. We were on the 6th floor (top floor) so it was quiet. The mattress was quite soft but luckily I slept well anyway. Very happy with this hotel.
"One Night Stay - Great"
This will be a short sweet review but this hotel was amazing or the price. Now this is nothing more than you would expect from a Hilton or a nice hotel like that but they do it for a lot less and the rooms are a bit more up to date. Staff were very helpful and friendly. A nice quick checking in procedure. Room was lovely and clean with all the latest simple gadgets (i.e USB ports on the plug sockets). Room, bathroom and bedding all very modern new and clean. The bathroom even had its own speaker in which you could control from the bathroom. You could still listen to the TV whilst in the shower. There is also free wifi in every room. Only a short walk towards the docks with all this glory and restaurants and not far from the centre of town. We did not get a taxi anywhere very easy to access everything you want to go to Liverpool for. Lovely bar downstairs we used this at the end of our night before we went up to bed, heaters outside and nice relaxing chairs. Very nice for a night cap. Did not try the food there but looked a lovely restaurant as it should be for a Marco Pierre Whites. Cannot fault this place, please use this as you are just paying for the Hilton brand where as you get everything you get there at this hotel but for less and if anything this hotel is more modern.
"Would happily visit again"
Hotel is about a 15 - 20 minutes walk from Lime Street, the main pedestrianised shopping area and Albert Dock (once you know the way) so quite well situated. Nice room (superior double) with a very comfortable bed. Had asked for a quiet room, which they interpreted as ‘room away from elevator requested’ on the confirmation email. Nevertheless, they put me in a room quite close to the elevator. Stay was only for one night so I did not bother to ask for a change of room. The room was, in fact, quiet with no noise from adjoining room or from the elevator. You could hear people talking as they passed the room walking down the corridor but I guess that might be the same for all rooms. Breakfast was fine with waiter service for cooked items. They put a notice in the lift to say what were the busy times for breakfast (late is busy). I breakfasted early and, as the notice stated there would be, there was plenty of room. No issues and would happily visit again on next visit to Liverpool.
