Rooms are nice, a bit on the small side and pretty pricey in season. Beautiful hotel though. You have to really know the hotel before making a reservation. Our friends had room 141 and it is one of the best rooms in the hotel for location on the 1st floor with a hugh terrace. Was great for them to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary! We had a 3rd floor room on the left side of the hotel with a view towards the port, not so great unless you like looking at ports! Best rooms are in the middle section of the hotel on any floor. 2nd floor rooms on either side of the hotel may not have ocean views. 3rd floor rooms have views and those on the right hand side have best views. How you make sure you get one of those rooms i am unsure of at this point. We made reservations at the same time as our friends''' Also, unsure how to guarantee a double bed and not 2 singles...we requested double but got 2 singles....hard to figure. We really enjoyed our stay there. The pool is superb and the access to the beach really convenient.
"Beach holiday in Valencia"
I and my friend decided to go to Valencia as it was convenient for us to meet there. We wanted to stay by the beach with a quality. The hotel is in a good location, just next to the beach and a big complex, with a beautiful view. Hotel rooms are a decent size and clean (cleaning ladies are really nice). Some days, they cleaned the room twice a day. There are no tea/coffee(kettle) facilities in the rooms. However, you can have your coffee at their cafe, very friendly waiting staff. You can rent a bike from the hotel to go around the city, €15 per day. The hotel has a nice swimming pool, if you prefer to stay onsite, we always chose the beach. Going to the city centre is not difficult and taxi journey is very convenient as there many in front of the hotel.
"Great hotel, great service"
Great hotel and great service, however maybe not the best value for the price. Rooms are well appointed, but the shower is small (how does a big person fit in that shower''). Rooms are the same as any luxury hotel room actually. Great position on the beach and plenty of good places to eat close by. Don't bother trying to get a seat by the pool! All the seats are reserved at 8am - even though they have clear instructions not to reserve seats, nobody controls it. This is not a hotel for a quiet day by the pool - lucky we were not in Valencia just for the sun.
"Great hotel and facilities"
Stayed for 10 days with family and had a Great experience. High standard hotel Very Well keept with good pool area and alot of different SPA offerings. Nice and helfull staff. Good Breakfast buffet and good pool Lunch restaurant. A nice and quiet hotel with a good atmosphere.
"Good For Beachgoers"
This hotel is very fancy, and it's good for people looking to go to the beach. It is nowhere near the city--if you want to spend time in Valencia proper, do not stay here! The hotel has a pool which you can use for free, and there is direct access to the beach as well. You need your card to get back on the property. They will give you towels in exchange for a ticket, but if you lose the ticket, you'll be charged 50 euros (there is a warning on the ticket). That brings me to another point: the prices here are high. A basic room is very expensive, the breakfast is 24 euros per person extra, and there are other things you can get for exorbitant costs. The breakfast is nice, but it's not worth that much. We had better for cheaper. I suppose that's what happens when you have the only beach resort around. The rooms are nice; very spacious with plenty of spots to put luggage. You have to pay extra for a beach view (we didn't). The bathroom is also large. There is a shower and a full bathtub. The shower is very small, though, and though it has a lot of functions, not many of them are useful. The temperature of the water fluctuates a lot, which led to me getting sprayed in the face with scalding hot water at times. This hotel is a very nice place, and it's especially useful for people looking to spend their day on the beach. However, it's very pricey, and it's a 30-minute metro/tram ride to the center of the city. If you're not looking to stay at the beach, this isn't the place for you, and be prepared to get nickel and dimed. If you're willing to withstand the prices and the distance to the city center, this place is very good.
