Guests may enjoy a superb breakfast every morning in the breakfast room. To ensure a pleasant start to the day, breakfast is served from 7.00 am to 110 am in a cosy room with a vaulted ceiling, decorated in Mediterranean colours. It may also be served in your room for a pleasant and gentle moment.

"There's No Better Place To Stay - It Is Quintessentially Paris"
Over the last twenty years, I've stayed at the Hotel Le Lavoisier three times - in fact, when I first visited Paris, I was among their first guests at the then new hotel. I'm happy to report that nothing has changed since that first visit...well, a lot has changed (Wi-Fi, LCD TVs, etc.) but the quality service, comfortable accommodations, and phenomenal location remain impeccable. From the moment you arrive at this quaint hotel, it exudes luxury with a tasteful exterior and modern lobby with typical Parisian flourishes. The staff is always ready to help arrange transportation, recommend dining options, or answer any and all questions you will inevitably have throughout your stay. I've stayed in two different room types during my various stays at the Hotel Le Lavoisier, but each are perfect in their own right. I will readily admit that the Superior Room is not as large as most chain-hotel rooms, but I believe that adds to its charm. But as an American of larger stature, I didn't really feel like I was running out of space except in the bathroom, where it was a tighter squeeze near the toilet. The accents and furniture in the rooms are lovely, and the hardwood floors are a plus - you just don't see that at a Hyatt or Marriott hotel. What I'm always most impressed with at the Hotel Le Lavoisier is how little street noise you can hear from inside your room. There's a major thoroughfare running within earshot of the hotel, but you wouldn't know it from inside one of their rooms. I found myself opening the windows just to get some fresh air and inject some of that evening Paris traffic noise into our accommodations. This time around my wife and I decided to get the breakfast package as part of our daily room rate, and what a great decision that was. In the basement of the hotel, there is a delightful little breakfast nook with about 5-6 tables and this is where your served a traditional French full breakfast. Croissants, cheese, yogurt, cereal, orange juice, and delicious coffee meet your table within minutes. And for a few more Euros, you can get a plate of bacon and eggs that are better than anything you'd find in a random cafe in Paris. If you don't want to get out of bed, no problem - the Hotel Le Lavoisier offers room service and arrives within ten minutes of your order. Don't spend your time rushing around Paris looking for a cafe in the morning - get it started right by eating in the adorable breakfast area or in your bed. One of the biggest advantages that the Hotel Le Lavoisier has is that it is really in the middle of everything - you are within walking distance of major shopping destinations (Champs-Élysées, Galeries Lafayette, etc.), all of the great art museums (The Lourve, Musée d'Orsay, etc.), and excellent dining options. If you are not a walking around Paris type, you are within 5-10 minutes of almost every major site in Paris with taxis readily available on the Boulevard Malesherbes. But the best part about Hotel Le Lavoisier's location is that it isn't in a touristy part of town - it is surrounded by shops, cafes, and is generally filled with Parisians going about their daily schedules. You never feel like you are among a gaggle of tourists when you step out the doors of the Hotel Le Lavoisier. Needless to say, the Hotel Le Lavoisier has always exceeded my expectations when I've stayed there, and that's why I keep coming back. There are not many places that I can say I still frequent twenty years later, and it's even more amazing for me to say that about a hotel halfway across the world. But the Hotel Le Lavoisier is just reliable - it's everything you want out of your Paris accommodations and more. If you want an authentic Parisian experience, stay at the Hotel Le Lavoisier. You will not regret it.
My husband and I stayed in this hotel for one night, and while it is located in a good location, the hotel is very rundown. Though it was a new exterior, the interior was very outdated, which is misleading. It could have been just our room (located on the 2nd floor), but it was not nice at all. I found two spiders in the bathroom, which was just awful. Additionally, when we were checking out, the front deskman was having a heated argument with a staff member that they then proceeded to continue outside on the street in front of the hotel. Would not recommend.
Just checked in and this is a nice quaint hotel well located in Paris. A 10 minute walk from where the airport bus dropped us off at the Opera. Check in was very pleasant and the staff excellent. Room is nice and clean.
"Solid Hotel With Good Location"
Great value for a Parisian hotel. It has a pretty good location and the rooms are ok albeit a tad old and a tad small. It's my second visit and I can see myself going back if they maintain their good rates. It's the correct decision for a good rate and a good location, not if your looking for luxury, room service and amenities in general.
"Better than Average, but not good enough for Very Good!"
The location of the hotel is excellent as it is a short walk from Saint Augustin (close to Theatre district), but also reachable within 8 mins walk from Saint Lazare, which has several metro lines. Once you arrive at the hotel, you are greeted by a building that gives off a wonderful Parisien vibe from the outside but then becomes disappointing on the inside due to is dull interior. The staff were friendly and did their best to make you feel welcome which was appreciated. The room we were allocated was on the 5th floor and it was clean and comfortable and tastefully decorated, with 2 sets of French doors that opened up to the road below, whereby a little road noise could be heard, but nothing to disturb your stay. Although the bathroom was a little compact, it had all of the amenities to make the stay relaxed and enjoyable. After a day of sightseeing, the room provided a little sanctuary and made the journey to your preferred night spot easy due to its location. It is clear that this hotel will appeal to many, but not all, however I would certainly recommend it to those who have not been to Paris before, due to it proximity within St Augustin.
