"Wonderful place to stay in Upper Town Old Quebec City"
We spent 6 nights at this hotel, 4 as part of a group tour and 2 additional nights on our own. We had a very spacious and beautiful room (modern design, muted colors) and a small but nice bathroom with a heated floor! The location is ideal...within the old part of the city but also not that far a walk to the new part of the city. Breakfast was not included in our stay so can't comment on the breakfast there but we went to several places within a block or two of hotel that had great coffee and breakfast items...cheaper, than the hotel, too. Our favorite was Paillard's. Service at the hotel was excellent and the place was always very clean. They even have a telephone by the front desk just for calling a taxi if you need one. The only downside is if you aren't in good physical shape, you will be unhappy about the long stairway that leads up to the lobby (if I recall our guide said there were 27 steps).
We only spent 1 night but was great service! We were able to check in early & check out late which was awesome & super practical for us!! It was super well situated for visiting Qc & shopping! Love it!
"Great location, spacious room"
My aunt and I were booked into this hotel prior to a cruise. I only found one downside to the property and that was the stairs leading up to the check-in desk. The staff was incredibly friendly, the location was perfect for walking to all kinds of shops and restaurants, and our room was well appointed, modern, and spacious. WiFi worked great too.
"Somewhat dated hotel in a good location"
The Manoir Victoria, is situated in the old town, it is quite old and the corridors and so forth are not attractive, but the rooms arevery nice and are also quite large. They served a good breakfast. The location is ideal for exploring the city.
"Old style luxury"
Our room looked like it had been recently renovated, bijou but immaculate. Hotel felt like we were walking into an Agatha Christie’s novel, very twenties feel about it. Quite a flight of stairs to climb from the entrance to reception and I did not see a left. Porters carried the cases at all times. The dining room was clean and lovely ( as were the prices!!) if we had known there is a diner and a mcDonalds just 2 doors away from the hotel. Hotel situated in the old part of the city with lovely cobbled streets and lots of little independent shops. A lovely place to stay
