"THE WORST NIGHTS SLEEP EVER"
Having been kept awake until 4.am by idiots racing their Ferraris etc up and down Sloane Street,I checked the windows to see if 1 had been left open,However on inspection found the glazing in the window seemed to have been replaced with what I can only describe as wafer thin temporary glass and as this room was on the 5th floor would be totally illegal from a H&S point of view. Whats more the windows would not even open and consequently the room smelt moldy. Shocking for the money. This was the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in.Staff were good though.
"Jiangsu - UK B2B Brokerage Event"
We organised a B2B Event in the millennium hotel between a Chinese delegation and UK businesses and it turned to be a great success. The hotel it self, the venue and the buffet are absolutely amazing. All the staff, especially the sales team was always ready to follow our needs with a very prompt response. I would highly recommend the venue for any kind of Events, especially for important business events , as the style the elegance the food the price and the location of the venue are great to be in London. for future Events to be made in London, we know where to go. Great Job and a very big thank you to all the Millennium Hotel Staff.
"One week stay during April 2017"
My wife and I like this location (we have stayed here previously and is close to where we used to live several years ago) since it is so convenient to the center of Knightsbridge. The staff is very helpful and the Chinese restaurant serves excellent dim sum along with its other items. The only negative is that the size of the standard room is too small for two people. Next time, we will get the club room. We must say a special compliment for Sarah Schmid, Room Division Manager. There was a small problem with our reservation billing but she handled it with great efficiency and understanding to our satisfaction. The hotel is fortunate to have an employee like her!
"Very average but superb location"
I travelled for Business and my company booked this hotel. I arrived late and check in was swift and the staff was kind. However the hotel is dated. My room was tiny with a view on a wall. The carpeting was dark and dated, the chairs wobbly. I was unlucky as my room was behind the elevator shaft that was extremely noisy. I could also hear the neighbours as if they were in my room- not because they were particularly noisy (they were just laughing, probably at a show) but because the wall was so thin. I also realised there was no lock on the door and the chain had been broken - not very reassuring. However the room was clean and there was complementary tea, coffee and cookies.
"NICE BUT VERY OVERPRICED"
The hotel should really only have a rating of 3 stars but it's London.... Very nice, very clean, nice staff but very overpriced considering that a croissant and coffee will set you back £15.50. If you can afford to shop in Knightsbridge, then this hotel is perfect. Outside the front door is Sloane Street surrounded by designer shops such a Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, BOSS etc.. However if you can't afford these shops a 20 minute walk will get you to Oxford Street or 10 mins by taxi. Tube station is about a 1 minute walk from the door of hotel. However, be prepared for the noise of the boys out playing at night in their Ferrari's, McLarens, Porche cars. Very very noisy and our room was to the back of the hotel.
