"One night stay for conference"
Nice hotel, quiet room comfortable bed. Plenty of parking. Only one restaurant open, but good choice of food. Atrium bar had a nice pint of London pale ale. Decent shower in the bathroom. Not too many people staying when I was there it seemed. Will certainly use again.
"Large but bland hotel in Reading"
Booked a weekend stay as we were visiting friends in Reading and then travelling to London. The hotel was easy to find and there was plenty of parking available. Checking in was done efficiently enough but in a business-like manner. The room was a decent size but the fittings were quite basic - no frills. Twin beds were not especially comfortable and the bathroom was OK but no more. The view was of the huge car park. Breakfast was the usual buffet with a good choice available. Typical of a style of hotel that the traveller can find everywhere - comfortable enough but bland and characterless.
"A weekend away."
Arrived at this hotel and upgraded to a suite for a night away and some shopping. I would highly recommend the upgrade, it was an extra £40, but well worth it. I have visited here a number of times and have to say I have never been disappointed. I always find the rooms clean and very comfortable and .great value for money. The atrium bar is nice. Not too pricey. The breakfast is always good, well kept and plentiful. I've never eaten in Le Cafe for any other meal time as I have always headed into the oracle where there is an excellent choice of restaurants. All in all a great hotel. I will definitely continue to stay there.
Stayed here for one night as part of the Cilantro deal for a birthday celebration. Rooms were basic but clean and accommodating. We had access to the pool, jacuzzi and sauna - definitely not 5* facilities but fun to use the jacuzzi and sauna before getting ready for dinner. The 7 course meal we had was amazing, the service was impeccable. We also paid for the buffet breakfast which was worth it. Would definitely recommend to couples look for a night away and I would definitely return.
"one nights stay"
The hotel was not busy when we arrived but as there were over a hundred of us it was then. Our rooms were allocated quickly with no fuss but were not much better than a travelog, but what can you expect. Food in the cafe was fine but not used to paying £15 for fish and chips. As you will read from all the other reviews the breakfast was rearly good, made, up for the cost of the meal and some.
