"Excellent Location to Major Attractions & Atocha AVE & Metro Station"
Beautiful, comfortable with great breakfast , friendly staff and fantastic location. All major attractions are just step away. Wonderfully located in a safe and not rowdy area. Lots of restaurants and fast food even small convenient/sundry shops & carrefour supermarket. Another great things are most of the day tour pick up from this hotel location. If you like to walk, you can also walk all the way to Gran Via. Lots of interesting shops along the way. I would stay there again next time in Madrid.
It was the first time we stay in the Atocha area of Madrid near the train station. It turned out to be quite a convenient location. The hotel looked relatively newly built so most of the rooms have modern furnishing although we were assigned probably the smallest room on the floor. But we did have a nice view outlook towards the museum of Reina Sofia. The room size was adequate for one night although I would prefer a larger ones if staying for a longer period. The bathroom was fine and had a decent tub/shower. Check in was excellent and friendly and attached parking was a real plus although there is a public garage across the street probably for less. We would definitely recommend and stay here again!
"Good location and comfortable"
We don't usually stay in hotels if apartments are available, however, this was not an option and so we ended up here on fairly short notice. Booking was straightforward on the web and we were very happy to see that options were available even though we were booking with only a day or so before our planned stay. The room and facilities were fine and there were additional services (gym) that we did not see. The staff were helpful and could provide advice in a range of languages. You could feel secure at the hotel at any time of day. The bar in the lobby (inexplicably called 'The Lobby') was average and fairly expensive. My one criticism of the Paseo del Arte is that while free wifi was available, the bandwidth was well below that which would now pass for acceptable. We are average users and between us we had four devices needing wifi and cloud synch. This really taxed the system available to us and made services that most travellers would assume they would have access to to become problematic and difficult. Should be an easy fix.
Great hotel I took for 7 nights and I regret that I did not take more The courtesy of the staff is simply impressive Classic service I would particularly like to mention Gaston and Christian from the reception are simply fantastic and an important asset to the hotel The friendly lobby manager Great hotel and the whole gang enjoyed it And not only in my name but also in their name we thank Gaston and Christian the Fantasies
"Great hotel near the train station"
Was there for 3 nights. Rooms are big and clean. Breakfast was great with a lot of different choices. 10 minutes walking from plaza Espana. 500 meters from Atocha train station. Great value for money. Very recommended
