The location of the Hotel Petit Palace Plaza is perfect for both tourists and business travelers. Nearby you will find the amazing buildings of the Stock Exchange and the Ritz. A short walk via Plaza de la Lealtad and Alfonso XII street brings you to the beautiful park El Retiro.
The hotel is also situated in the so-called collecting Art Walk – an area with the three most prestigious museums of the city such as the Museo del Prado, the Reina Sofia and Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum.
Thanks to its unbeatable location other emblematic attractions such as the Gran Via, Retiro Park and the Plaza Mayor can be reached easily and quickly. Going to Airport Barajas International Airport and the IFEMA only takes a short car ride.
Very good hotel in excellent location - particularly for museums and galleries.Comment of B. Stephen , United Kingdom the 2014-09-30
Desayuno completo. Excelente relación calidad-precio. Sin duda, repetiremos.Comment of C. "A Health Concious Petit Hotel"
We enjoyed our stay at this petit hotel which did not appear to be very noticeable from the outside. The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful. We did not include breakfast in our package but ended up eating there during our stay for they provided healthy menu for breakfast including fruits, cereal, smoke salmon, sausage and jamon, etc. However, they could do better on their cooked eggs such as omelets. The room was clean and comfortably fit two of us. Unfortunately, there was some sort of construction next door so it was a bit annoying at times. The library was great and pleasant that was quite conducive for writing journal and reading. Coffee and tea were available all the time in the library. If you are not into bar and restaurant, this is the hotel you should consider.
"The Museum Side of Madrid"
Our Petit Palace hotel is perfectly located by all the museums and very near Ritero Park. It's modern with clean rooms and very quiet to provide a good night’s sleep. We stayed two nights and found the housekeeping to be superb. It’s got an upscale feel. The breakfast buffet is quite good with just the most beautiful presentation. The efficient reception staff is available 24 hours and is quite helpful to travelers. They answered our questions then continued to field one after another from the other guests. Just a note, the reception area is fragrant with those oil-infused incense sticks, but for a sensitive nose, it may be a bit strong.
This was my first trip to Madrid. Hotel location & cleanliness are beyond what you'd expect. The room cleaning service did a good job every time they came in. The front desk employees were very friendly & professional we made a mistake in the booking and decided to move to another hotel. But they're great help and positive attitude made us decide to stay. I am a traveler and I went to a lot of hotels "Luis" & "Olga" are by far the best two front desk employees I have ever met so far. They helped us with bookings in resturant & shows and even called other hotels & and establishments to get us all the information we need to plan our holidays We even cancelled Barcelona trip and the hotel did their best to accommodate us as long as we needed. Truly enjoyed it. It was a nice experience
"Calm and peaceful property!"
We thoroughly enjoyed the four nights we spent at the Petit Palace Lealtad Plaza. The staff was very helpful in offering directions, restaurant suggestions and answering all the other questions that first-time visitors to Madrid might have. The gorgeous neighborhood is perfect for 98% of the reasons you might be in Madrid. However, in our case we arrived after 18 rugged and challenging days on the Camino de Santiago and really hoped for a closer pharmacy and small convenience-type store to re-stock on some basics. After some searching we found everything we needed but there are no stores in the immediate neighborhood. This wouldn't even be an issue for most but thought it deserved a mention.
I stayed here for 3 nights over a long weekend and have nothing but praise for the hotel. The location is ideal, a brisk 5 mins walk from the centre of Madrid and even nearer to the very large park which is beautiful with a large boating lake and cafes. The front of desk team could not have been more helpful, I arrived much earlier than anticipated and they still found me a room. The rooms are very modern and well furnished, with plenty of space. Fantastic value for money, if I go back to Madrid I will certainly be staying here.
