The Petit Palace Plaza Malaga hotel is situated round the corner from Calle Larios, one of the busiest shopping streets, next to Picasso Museum, the Cathedral of Malaga, Thyssen museum, Grifralfaro Castle, and the Citadel.
It is also 2 kilometres from the railway station and 10 kilometres from the airport.
This unique hotel is located centrally in the old town. Great service and good breakfast buffet.Comment of C. LW , Netherlands the 2014-11-13
Muy bien situado y un personal dedicado y muy profesional.Comment of R. Ramon , Spain the 2014-06-21
Hotel in a great location. We had a room on the second floor (internal - so no view of surrounding buildings/shops) it was a good size and light and airy. I couldn't find a bottle opener so did not use the mini bar but there was no glasses either (only a minor thing) Staff very helpful. A specially thank you to Maite on reception.
"Great choice for family accomodation"
We stayed here with our two children in July. We had the room that's displayed in the photo (room 501). I'd highly recommend as a choice for a family stay in Malaga. Kids loved the bunk beds and the view, particularly in the evening, was stunning. Parking is about a 10 minute walk so be aware of this as trying to get any closer is tricky. Staff were great, really helpful.
"Excellent location but rooms are tiny and very basic in their quality"
Hotel location is excellent at the heart of Malaga. However, rooms are extremely small and very-very basic in their quality. An option for a very short stay but I would recommend to look somewhere else in case you want to stay any longer than one night.
"Well placed bur noisy"
This small hotel is very well placed: 10 m to the Plaza España and just in the core of the city. All commercial streets are nearby and so are significant tourism "must visit" places, like the Cathedral, etc. Breakfast is OK and service is also fine. The main problem of this hotel is precise it's situation, just in the middle of narrow streets, with some terrasses / outdoor restaurants and if you go there in the hit season it is usual that some neighbors last their (noisy) parties - with their windows / balconies open - until very late. Rooms are average.
"Great Location, tiny room"
We stayed 2 nights in the Petit. We took the train from the airport and walked to the hotel. It was a bit of a walk but doable. The check in was good. Front staff was friendly. Our room was tiny but modern. No place to really put 2 carry-ons. Our window looked out at a wall. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. There was a safe and refrigerator in the room. The bathroom was nice but a little cramped. No real counter space. Nice towels and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was very good with lots of variety. All the staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a perfect location. Easy to walk to the main sites and the water. If you want to hang at the beach it's a little farther but still within walking distance. Lots of restaurants around.
