The best hotel in milanComment of H. Uri , United States the 2016-06-24
"Simply an Experience"
We have been many times to this hotel and celebrated there the Millenium and now 2018 New Years. The experience is always good although the hotel changed hands a few times. It retains its glamour and old style hospitality. The rooms and public areas are beautiful and the SPA and Gym exceptional. It is always good to come home to a good experience.
My parents and my husband and I spent Christmas 2017 at this luxury hotel. The bedrooms and bathrooms are stunning. The breakfasts are great. Staff are friendly and speak english. Only downside is that there is nowhere to really relax in the hotel. The bar lacks atmosphere as there is nobody in it and the lobby area also serves as the lounge, which is bizarre. A beautiful hotel for seeing Milan.
"Truly Exceptional "
This was hands down one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely pampered and looked after. Although we arrived early, we were able to check in and have a room allocated immediately, which was very appreciated as we had had a very early flight. Every single staff member we encountered was nothing short of fantastic. A special mention to the petite lady with brunette hair worn tied up in Il Salotto. She is fantastic at her job and extremely friendly. We went for a Deluxe room, which was an excellent size and spotless. The bathroom in particular was amazing and the shower quite possibly the best I’ve ever had. The complimentary Acqua di Parma toiletries are a lovely touch. We had room service the first night, which was delicious, as was breakfast to the room. We also ate breakfast in the main restaurant and it was great-a brilliant selection as well as a menu of hot items which can be made to order. Nothing was too much trouble at breakfast. I certainly thought it was worth paying more to have breakfast included. We also had cocktails in the main hotel bar and they were delicious and the complimentary snacks provided were almost a meal in themselves! We ate twice in the lobby area, Il Salotto, and enjoyed the food immensely. The pool is very nice, as is the sauna and steam room. The lady in Club 10 was super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend walking around the roof top to admire the views, which can be accessed from the pool. If I had to make a small criticism, it would be that the mini bar prices are too inflated and that the price of a vodka and tonic in the Lounge was more expensive than a cocktail in the bar, which isn’t normally the way it is. However, the hotel is exceptional and therefore certain price inflation is to be expected. A truly memorable experience.
"Treat yourself at Principe Di Savoia"
The historical building and well trained staff make this hotel an excellent luxury hide-out. It is close enough to the main attractions and far enough from excessive crowds. Breakfast is festive, the restaurant is chic.
"For classical lovers !"
This hotel is perfect choice specially who loves old classical style design. All rooms well fashioned, classicly designed with traditional furniture. Their spa is excellent as well. Hotel staff is always with smiling face and helpful ! It is really good choice for elderly family members.
