This was a charming hotel with large lobby, rooms and beautiful garden with surroundings. The wifi and normal parking was free. The breakfast was good, but a bit pricey. However, the big minus was that there was no restaurant for dinner, although there was definitely ample room for that. The location is also remote without transportation.......
"Nice place to stay"
We stayed for one night. Rooms were very spaciuos, with all the conveniences. Breakfast was diversified. We could eat with the view on garden. The only bad thing was impossibility to eat something in the evening.
"I did not feel welcomed!"
I booked as an offer on booking com, unfortunately it was not written, that the special price was for a room on 4th floor by the elevator, the room was cold - despite two heaters in room, they were not on. I tried to get warm by taking hot shower - water in shower was not warm enough, maybe because of 4th floor. I could not sleep because of the noise from elevator. After phone call with reception they found other room for me on first floor. Was warm and quiet. I could fall asleep finaly.
""Magnificent rest after long drive!""
Convenient location in a quiet, peaceful area. A pleasant and cozy hotel. Very friendly, courteous and competent staff at the reception. We had a comfortable, clean and quiet two-story room. But most importantly, that is very surprised and was pleased this breakfast! All assortment of, as in the usual nice hotel ... but everything is very tasty and high quality! We travel a lot, and we have something to compare, but it was one of the best breakfasts! Thanks for all!
"3-1/2 Stars Really; So Close, But No Cigar!"
We were excited to come to this "B&B" which really feels more like a country hotel than a B&B. The lobby and breakfast room are lovely in a relaxed, elegant way. We had reserved a "superior" room, and were in fact given a two-room suite on the 4th (top) floor. It was spacious, but the decor was sparse--not at all charming. There is no A/C in the room and there were no screens in any of the windows (and lots of flying insects outside). We were able to keep the windows closed--even though we really wanted some fresh air. In warm weather, this would be an impossible situation. There are no washcloths in the room (we called the desk to ask) even though the only soaps provided are liquid soaps (very odd). The pillows were absurdly lumpy and should have been replaced a decade ago. We stayed only one night, and that was enough. If we were going to stay for more than one night, I would have asked to see different accommodations, and perhaps some of our issues would have been resolved. I asked for additional pillows, and I got more of the same hardy lumpy ones. The setting is lovely, the public areas are lovely, and the breakfast was good enough. These comfort issues need to be improved.
