"Best hotel in town"
This is a 4 stars hotel. Is in the city center and very close to the shopping area. The customer service is amazing, the rooms, the bed is comfortable and the bathrooms are new and clean. I suggest reserving a room in this hotel because is in the perfect location for who is visiting Budapest for the first time.
We stayed here for four night in October 2017. Everything was excellent from the outset. Easy check-in with friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was fab, loads of choice and chef cooked to order. We travelled to Vienna one day at 6am, and staff arranged huge “breakfast boxes” for us to take and eat en route. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. They even arranged a wee bottle of bubbly and fruit for my friend’s birthday. Staff were so helpful and friendly throughout our stay - to be commended! Location great too - close to Danube and main shopping area.
"Outstanding customer service"
Here are a few reasons why you would want to stay at the Hotel Zenit in Budapest: Customer service - the hotel contacted us through email about a week ahead of check-in advising that we could check in online and have a driver waiting for us at the airport for a flat fee (30Euros). We agreed and the driver waiting for us upon arrival - it could not have gone faster or smoother. - knowing that it was my husband’ Birthday, they had pre-arranged champagne and a fruit platter waiting in our room. How thoughtful! - one piece of luggage did not show up; without being asked, the front desk staff communicated regularly with the baggage delivery service and kept us appraised of its expected ETA. - our friends were expected the next day. They were bumped on 3 different flights; each time the hotel ordered and then cancelled a driver for them. When they finally arrived in the middle of the night, the driver was there to meet them, and staff had arranged for some food and beverage waiting in their room. - they did all of this and more without having to be asked. The best level of service we have seen in years! Location - within steps of the Vaci Utca, the famous pedestrian street the houses great shopping, restaurants, churches, etc - one block from the riverfront - convenient to all forms of transportation. Breakfast - a very good selection of both hot and cold items, fresh squeezed juice, etc Rooms - large indeed by European standards, efficient air conditioning, spotlessly clean. Overall, I would give a very high recommendation to this hotel.
"Don't take a room on the 4th floor"
Stayed here for 4 nights. Check-in was easy and we felt welcome. The positives: This hotel is perfectly located, within walking distance to all the main things. Beds were fabulously comfortable. The Negative We had a room for 2 on the 4th floor. The room was very darkness and was not cleaned properly daily also towels in the room were not replaced on a daily basis.
