Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor benefits of an incredible location along the historic Boston waterfront and offers easy access to top city attractions via a comfortable water taxi to downtown or complimentary 24 hour airport shuttle.
"Overnight only, restaurant also."
Not bad, but hotwire advertised this as a "four star" hotel, and it absolutely is not. In fact, the bathroom was bordering on icky. Old, cracked tile, with stains in the grout...not updated at all. So, while this doesn't usually bother me, it did because of the supposed 4 star rating. The check in guy was amazing, the room was clean and comfortable, and the views from the Harbor Grill were amazing. The servers were a train wreck, unfortunately. Limited english, chaotic, seemed to not know what they were doing, very slow...but food was good and manager excellent, taking full responsibility and apologizing for our inconvenience. She was a stellar employee Hyatt should be proud of. All in all, not bad. Would certainly stay again. Oh yes, airport shuttle was fast, amazing, and 24 hours.
"Beautiful View of Boston Harbor"
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. The staff was friendly and helpful from the front desk staff to the housekeepers to the shuttle drivers. The room was clean and spacious. We were able to move around the room comfortably. Wi-fi in the room was free and we never had a problem connecting to the internet. Not sure if other rooms have a microwave or fridge. Our room did not have either items. We had a view of the airport which we didn't mind. The windows were soundproof so we did not hear the planes taking off or landing and the black out shades worked well. There were 3 elevators that could take you to your floor and we never had to wait more than 5 minutes for one of the elevators. The hotel restaurant has outdoor seating in the back of the hotel with a beautiful view of the harbor. At sunset, there is a nice crowd gathered back there enjoying the view. You can also enjoy the view of the harbor from the inside of the restaurant. As far breakfast goes, it was not included with our room. My husband used the fitness room and was happy with the condition of the exercise machines. We made use of the free shuttle during our stay. Instead of taking the water taxi across the harbor to downtown Boston, we opted to have the shuttle take us to the T/blue line. When we returned from the city, we would call the hotel to let them know that we were ready to be picked up at the station and the wait was never long. The ride to and from the subway was less than 10 minutes to the hotel. We also walked backed from the airport where the subway is located one afternoon and it was about a 15 minute walk. One area that they could improve on is the bathroom. Overall, the bathroom was clean, but there was a little mildew in the shower which the bathroom is prone to because there is no fan in there to circulate air when you take a shower. Also, the shower did not drain well so if you took a long shower there was some puddling. In our bathroom, the faucet fixtures on the sink leaked when you turned the water on so we had to make sure the water didn't spread to the rest of the countertop after each use. Minus the issues with the bathroom, we enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt and we would stay at this hotel again.
"Hyatt Boston airport"
This is a great hotel if you miss your flight or if you want to stay close to the airport with easy water taxi access to downtown. The view is spectacular. Bar and food are very good. Staff is nice and the outside patio is lovely.
"Lovely place to stay"
Lovely place to stay, provides all the toiletries you'll need during your stay. Beautiful bar area to sit and enjoy a few drinks looking out over the harbour. You can have anything from a light bite to a main meal without having to move, you can also jump onto the water taxi to head down town in a few seconds walk Would love to stay again
Very nice hotel right on the harbor. Amazing skyline views. Nice outdoor area with table side fire pits to enjoy some food and drinks while looking at the downtown skyline. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Would have liked to had a refrigerator in the room. And be prepared to pay $44 a day in parking, but all hotels in the area are like that. Would definitely go back.
