First trip to Shanghai for business and couldn't ask for a better place to stay. I was only here for 1 night and had to travel to Nantong the next morning, but it was extremely relaxing for the 1 night. My room was very modern and had a great view of the Bund. Bed was super comfortable after a long day of work and travel from southern China. The western style burger that I had for dinner was awesome. Nothing like a burger and a beer to make you feel like home. Breakfast buffet rivals any that I've had in China. It was the best. I'll definitely stay here again on future visits to Shanghai.
As a first time visitor to Shanghai, choosing Hyatt on the Bund was a wise decision. It offers a wide variety of amenities including several restaurants to satisfy all tastes. My room was situated on the 20th floor overlooking the river and a view of the city’s skyline. Magnificent view of the entire city and the evening was even more amazing.
"Hyatt on the Bund, Shanghai, China"
Hyatt on the Bund, Shanghai, China Stayed Feb 2018 one night. My limited observation: Pros: good selections of freshly cooked morning buffet menu modern, good view of waterway centrally located reasonable wifi in room & througout premise CNN & few other english channels were available Cons: very limited english by receptionist & other hotel staffs staffs are generally with non-challant attitude, no smile, No instructions on how to use hi tec shower
Service perfect, amazing room, perfect location. We have an amazing stay on Hyatt, breakfast is close to perfection, you can try a lot of possibilities. Lounge is also recommended. Definitely I recommend Hyatt in Shanghai.
"Good Choice for Shanghai"
Hyatt on the Bund is in my view is an excellent 4 star hotel. Though rooms are a bit dated, they are a fine size & are kept really well. The hotel is tall & elegant on the skyline, & entrance foyer, really exceptional. Facilities are really good. We arrived early in the morning, expecting not to have our room until 3 PM, but they kindly gave us a room on the 23rd floor overlooking the Bund, which was stunning by day, and by night, probably one of the best views in Shanghai. We were very happy with service during our stay. Staff were helpful and really good with English. Quiet location; 5 min' walk to the river / Bund; 7/8 min' walk to main shopping street on Nanjing Road; 5 min' walk to Bund sight seeing tunnel which is an expensive but convenient way to cross the river; 10 min' walk to the nearest subway on Nanjing Road; about 40 min' to Disney by subway. In summary, I believe this is a very convenient hotel for sight seeing and I would recommend it.
