Great facility with wonderful, helpful and knowlegeable staff. No language barriers. Transportation from hotel readily available. Warned us not to walk any distances in extreme heat. Provided water on arrival and in our room.
"Nice hotel in a residential/commercial area"
The hotel overall was a good value. The rate included a free buffet breakfast. Rooms: The room had 1 king bed. It was a good size room with a balcony. There was no view so we never went on the balcony. There is a work desk and an additional space where you can layout your things. General areas There is a small outdoor pool on the second floor. It isn't deep so the pool would be good for children. There is also a nice size workout room on the second floor. This may be a Dubai thing but your room card only gets you to your floor. So family/friends that were placed on other floors couldn't get to us. It would of been nice if we were told this or been placed all on the same floor. Food I ate breakfast at the hotel every morning. They have a wide variety of Indian food. They also have yogurt, fruits, grains/cereal, baked goods (muffins, etc), made to order omelettes and pancakes. I didn't initially realize they offered pancakes so I only ate them the last 4 days. The first 2 of the 4 days they were made well. The last 2 of the 4 days someone different made them and they were not cooked through. Luckily there were so many other options. I don't like coffee so I didn't try it. They have tea but you have to ask for it. Location The location is far from "new" Dubai. It is about a 30 diera ride into new Dubai. You can take the train which stops around the corner. I didn't choose that option. One friend did and they said the train was packed. The location is near tons of shops and local eateries. There was a smoothie place less than 5 minute walk that we frequented. Overall it was a good stay.
"Great service and friendly staff"
We booked 2 two bedroom apartments and 1 normal room, stayed here for 9 days. Rooms were spacious and clean, staff is friendly and helpful. recommended for your family, free shuttle to metro, mall n beach. next to hotel there is 24/7 open supermarket. The only thing i didn't like was breakfast, only 2 juice option (sometimes 1), same 4 fruits , hashbrown every second day, same maida paratha everyday, we are vegetarians so for us there was only 2 or 3 option left to eat as we don't prefer to eat maida paratha in breakfast, so breakfast was superboring. Except breakfast everything was great, definitely recommend this hotel and definitely love to stay again in future.
"Pleasant hotel in the center"
The hotel was pleasant, the price was good, the staff was very nice. The hotel has a very nice outdoor pool, surely one of the best swimming pools in Deira. Direct buses leave either Jumeira Beach (X28) or Mamzar Beach Park (C15).
"Most affordably accessible hotel in Dubai"
Hyatt Al Rigga is on my most visited hotels so far in Dubai. Convenient, affordable and best in its class. Rooms and lobby is nicely decorated, high ceilings gives a expansive look and feel. Courteous staff with nice greetings when approached. Food needs to be enhanced as breakfast gets quite monotonous if you stay longer. Wifi is not that great and house keeping staff listens to a whistling music every day which gets quite annoying sometimes as you can really get up hearing that! Overall: one of the good hotels in Dubai.
