A very good location and value for money. The staff across from the front desk to the security team are all polite and take care of every request in a timely manner. I would certainly make my next stay in Dubai at Hyatt Place. Nani the boy who was taking of my room was so good at what he does. And he was super nice to chat with while I am in the room and the boys were sprucing up the room.
"Decent place to stay for a short family vacation"
Pros: New hotel, generally clean, polite staff, close to gold souk and old Dubai, close to airport and local shopping, decent breakfast. Cons: Poor location- main entrance is just beside a e traffic signal and hence very difficult to get into and get down from taxis. Hot water in the bathroom was never hot, breakfast was a bit boring with almost the same items everyday, the bathroom drain seemed to be clogged.
"Comfortable stay "
The hotel is in the middle of the old town market place with wholesale markets around it, so ideal for a business traveller. But good for a visitor too due to its proximity to the Dubai creek abra stations and a metro station right outside the hotel. Rooms are smaller compared to their other properties in Dubai. Breakfast is good, small place, but good varieties for food. I would go back to stay there is I have work around the area.
"Good location if in Deira"
The hotel was chosen as it was relatively close to the airport and also to Sharjah where I had my business meetings, while it was also close to the metro (subway). Room was spacious and even had a sofa. Nice size bed, large TV, clean bathrrom with soap and shampoo and not the 3 in 1 soap that some hotels have. Room also had an MP3 player docking station, and USB sockets for charging your phone, mp3 player etc.. Good breakfast with a lot of things to chose from. It would be nice if they also had an omellete - fried eggs stand but it did not matter so much. Nice swimming pool on the terace if one wants to take a dip at the end of the day. They also serve alcohol there.. Friendly staff, and a 24 hour stand where one could take something to drink (not alcohol) or to snack
Really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. We found it very central and not far from the subway. Plenty of smaller shops within walking distance and variety of eating places. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
