"Bellevue Hyatt WSDA MEETING SITE"
Lovely hotel for a meeting! Very courteous staff and delicious meals. The beds were awesome too! We will return for another visit soon! Great shopping across the street! Nordstroms, Crate and Barrel and many more!
Beautiful rooms and very clean. Parking should be validated and room service was extremely overpriced for the amount of food we received. I would stay here again in hopes that they would change there parking policy and and the automatic 21% gratuity amd $3 fee for room service.
"Difficulty with Check In... Again"
We brought our office down for a conference last year and that time they gave our room key out to a staff member, despite having spent considerable time organizing things before our arrival. That was awkward. This year we brought everyone down again and spent even more time trying to be certain everything went smoothly on check-in. Despite this, one of our staff members wasn't able to check in and required us to talk with management before getting her into her room, and several of our staff were required to register credit cards with the hotel for incidentals, even though we had signed paperwork to have everything go to our card... So that was annoying. The rooms are clean (except for lots of handprints on the head board), the bed was very comfortable, no robes, no Keurig, nothing fancy, but nice. We had room service breakfast twice- disappointing both times (the American breakfast hash browns are actually a couple of those frozen rectangle things). And the room service guy went on and on about how part of the service charge goes to the hotel and he won't get all the tip, so if we wanted to add something... which was pretty tacky. There are a couple of nice restaurants on the premises and it is near shopping (if that's your thing) and lots of other places to eat and drink. Perfectly suitable for a business trip. Overall, I think I prefer the Westin Bellevue, but it's not a bad place to stay. The annual conference takes place at the Hyatt and Meydenbauer Center, so I'll be back next year and reserve several rooms again. I'm hoping the check-in goes smoothly next year, but my 2 out of 2 experience tells me there will likely be some kind of snag again next year...
"Hyatt Regency Bellevue, WA"
Hyatt membership does not guarantee services and special treatment to members. Better room request were ignored and reasons given was not convincing at all. Other brand of hotel membership gave much better differential services and guest experience.
"Nice romantic getaway"
My husband surprised me with an impromptu romantic getaway in April. I had never stayed at the Hyatt before in bellevue. We couldn't find a dog sitter so we ended bringing our small dog. Although, at nearly $100 to add him and a bit unreasonable rules regarding him, we will not bring him here when we return. They did provide him a wonderful dog mat with stainless bowls for him to eat from. The bar was very dark and the drink was ok. The bed and pillows were not very comfortable. We will return again because the proximity to downtown is the best. We went to McCormicks for dinner and drinks near by. And we highly recommend it, especially over eating at the hotel. The doorman were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I think they need to brighten the decor up, it didn't feel warm there, and the staff I would rate a 6.5 out of town with the exception of the doorman.
