"The showers need full enclosure"
This was my second time visiting the Hyatt Regency DFW. The staff is incredible. All of the associated working the check in desk were dressed professionally and very presentable. The hotel was exceptionally clean and meticulous. The only issue I had was with the shower. It has only one stationary piece of glass that goes halfway, then nothing. To make matters worse, I had to step in the shower in order to turn the water on. This means I got a rush of cold water before the appropriate temperature came out. I couldn't relax in my shower because I was worried about residual water going on the floor outside the tub and around the toilet. Aside from the shower, the hotel is as close to perfect as possible.
"Best hotel at airport"
I have stayed there multiple times before flying out of dfw. The food is good Rooms are spacious and clean Shuttle runs every 20 min Have park and fly option so leave my car somewhere safe Love this hotel
I stayed at this Hyatt last year for our annual conference and the experience was exceptional. This time around there was a lot to be desired. When I arrived at the hotel for check-in my room was not ready and I had to wait 30 minutes. Additionally, the first night there was a fire alarm that went off at 1:30AM in which case I had to exit the hotel in 20 degree weather to find the kitchen set the alarm on accident. It smelt like there was some type of gas leak. Lastly, during one of our sessions in the conference room a light bulb burst in the ceiling in the middle of the room. I was disappointed this time around with my visit compared to the standards that I expected from my last visit
"Great hotel at DFW"
Ello chaps! Stopped in at Hyatt Regency at Dallas Forth Worth Airport for a quick lay over stay. When I say this hotel is AT DFW, I mean it is “AT” DFW. Fantastic views of the runway, clean, spacious rooms, with all of the expected amenities – and at a great cost. Here’s the downside. Getting to the hotel. It’s easy getting dropped off at the designated spot by the rental car bus, but getting from there to the hotel is not the easiest. The hotel does offer a courtesy shuttle, but after waiting 15 minutes, I decided to walk it. I mean, the hotel is on the other side of the parking garage, how hard could it be' More difficult than it seemed apparently. The signs are a bit confusing in the garage, pointing you in one direction, but no clear way to knowing which floor you need to go to to get to the hotel. It’s a lot of up and down stairs with luggage – and on this night it was extremely cold – so that was a little annoying. Finally made it, checked in, and had a great stay. Only recommendation to the hotel is to make it a little easier (adding clearer directional signage) allowing guests to get to and from the hotel from various vantage points of the airport.
I highly recommend not staying at this Hyatt. Staff is not happy and don’t care about doing a great job, Getting to the hotel from the gates took 45 min. even thought the hotel is in the airport because the shuttle service is so poor.
