This is a very comfortable hotel. We had excellent service from RAJ in the restaurant - extremely efficient and most helpful beyond the call of duty. As well, ROB on the Front Desk allowed us a much later check out than normal which assisted our travels greatly. Strong recommendation.Comment of P. Marcus , Australia the 2016-09-18

My wife and I planned this trip to celebrate our eighth wedding anniversary so it was important that we stay in a quality hotel. The Hyatt did not disappoint -on any level. In fact, the gentleman whom checked us in, a young man by the name of Jay Wong, was especially accommodating. Not only did he permit us to check in more than hour early, he gave us a room with a breathtaking view of down town Toronto and a king size bed. Upon settling into our room, we received a call from the front desk. It was Jay. He called to make sure that we were happy with the room and asked for, by then, the third time if there was anything at all that he could do to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. We were very impressed. Later that night, there was a knock at our door. I opened it to find a member of the in-room dining team holding a tray. He said that Jay wanted to wish us a very happy anniversary. The tray contained two small bottles of wine and two slices of decadent chocolate cake trimmed beautifully with various berries. We were speechless.Comment of C. Adam , Canada the 2016-04-10

"Great central location "
Modern hotel in the Entertainment district so very centrally located. Room reasonably spacious with fresh decor and very comfortable bed. Tea and coffee supplied along with complimentary bottles of water.
Spent one night at this hotel during a business trip. While I knew this was not a high end hotel, I was expecting a bit more that what I got. The hotel is basically fine but it is very dated and pretty uninspired. Decor is minimal, corridors/carpets not very clean, simply a very average business hotel. With so many new hotels in town, I have the feeling I could have done much better with the $700 CAD I spent on this stay...
"Wedding Resting Place"
I had the fortune to stay at the HYATT REGENCY for three days in June, a hotel close to the venue for my daughter's wedding. From entry to exit, it was enjoyable experience. We were warmly greeted by Ray and Allan at the front desk, and they ensured the hotel experience did not add to any wedding angst. The room was spacious and the bed and pillows extremely comfortable. The location could not be better for access to many Toronto attractions, and many of the small and superb restaurants in town are right across the road. You can walk to Kensington Market and Chinatown with little effort, as well as the Air Canada Centre and Rogers Centre, placing you close to Toronto's sporting venues, CN Tower and Ripley's Aquarium. I rarely stay in hotels in my own city, but would stay in this hotel again without question........Thanks to the HYATT......
"Very Comfortable and Inviting"
I had the fortunate opportunity to stay at the Hyatt for 3 days in June, as we prepared to enjoy my daughters wedding , held in a near by venue. From entry to exit, the staff treated my entire family warmly (great work by Ray and Allan), and ensured that all was in order. Weddings can be stressful, but the hotel experience did not add to that. The location is superb, making it easy to walk around to many of the main venues downtown. Great venue and great location....
"Best Anniversary Ever!"
We stayed on our 25th Anniversary in the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Toronto. We loved the hotel location, service and the nice gesture of having a bottle of Champagne in our room when we arrived...excellent hotel...highly recommended.
