"harmonic beach ressort days"
well equiped hotel room, not extremely big but smart concept, astonishing view, charming personel and great food & drinks, good selection of breakfast and tasty coffee, best location to relax or to go to Palma or party locations!
Just back from a week's holiday with family at the newly refurbished hotel. Overall I liked the hotel, amenities and food. I'm not too keen on the blue and white scheme, I feel it would benefit from a richer colour palette such as orange or yellow as per the Iberostar brand. Staff were attentive, polite and helpful. Good choice of food and drinks but labelling of dishes was inconsistent. The hotel could benefit from better signage (including removing references to the former hotel Cupido) - signs for toilets in the main hotel and signs to facilites poolside. E.g. to guide people to showers, covered areas and chill out facilities. They missed a trick maximising on us using more amenities than we did as we couldn't tell what areas were for communal use. They tried poolside entertainment but nothing consistent during the day. I feel that music or radio could have been provided around the pool as it felt too quiet and there were no clocks outside. I enjoyed a massage in the spa and that was one of the highlights of my stay. The staff were highly trained and competent. Really recommend this.
"Very relaxing break"
Spent a week here (in very hot June). The hotel is newly refurbished, and everything is very pristine (and a bit too white for my personal taste) and kept very clean. The room was a bit small but very comfortable, with a great shower, fridge, big TV (with english channels), balcony and a lovely view of the pool and beach. Location is great - the beach is literally across the road, and Palma is a short bus ride away. Plenty of places to drink and eat around (and we felt the hotel was situated in the less 'rowdy' part of the resort). The food in the hotel was really good, with lots of choice, and we found the staff to be both friendly and efficient - especially in the bar in the evening. We would happily come back here, and had a really good time.
"Not what expected"
Reviews are confusing as there are 3 Iberastars near each other so we should have looked more closely. Unfortunately this hotel as my son said, was just a little off in every way! Everyone seemed very confused and didn't focus on the guests. Everyone seemed new and inexperienced. They were not able to handle many of our tourist questions and didn't even know where to look so we were left to figure it out. The facility is nice because it is on the beach but everything seemed to be additive e.g. 12.00 for safe for 4 nights, 20 deposit for towels and beach is public so 40 for an umbrella each day. As a beach resort hotel, I would have thought they would have made you feel like they had everything handled and helped manage tourist bookings vs having you figure it out. Food is also just average. Given we have been in 3 hotels on our trip, I can say this was not what we expected but made the most and had a great trip as the city is beautiful.
