I just got married two weeks ago. My husband and I didn’t have time to plan a huge wedding or take a honeymoon trip overseas. Our busy work schedule didn’t allow it. So, for the meantime we planned a quick weekend getaway at the intercontinental Boston hotel and boy! were we pleased. Initially upon arrival our room wasn’t ready.. so there was a bit of a wait. During the wait time one of the staff members named Jeremy March came to us to offer his apologies. While in conversation we mentioned we were in town celebrating our recent nuptials. Ten mins later he comes back to tell us he had upgraded us to the presidential suite as an apology for the wait. He proceeded to give us drinks and breakfast vouchers! He made our stay memorable and special. We felt like royals. We will def be coming back. Thank you Jeremy and thank you to all the intercontinental staff members for making our experience at the hotel exceptional!!!!
"One night excellence"
After a friendly and efficient check in, I got to a clean, well designed comfortable room. I was in town for the Columbus marathon, and even though I checked in late Saturday night, they were happy to provide me a late Sunday checkout. This was critical so I could leave my things in the room and get a shower before a 3-hour drive home. In short, I was very happy with my experience.

This was my fourth stay at the Intercontinental and it continues to be my favorite hotel in Boston. The staff is great, the rooms very comfortable and luxurious, and the location great. Take the free Silver Line Bus to South Station from the airport and walk 5 minutes down the street to arrive and be greeted for your stay. I always look forward to returning, because I know that the room will be wonderful. Many thanks to the front desk for allowing me to extend my checkout time to accommodate my flight time. Also of note for families, this hotel has rooms with two queen (not double) beds, which can be a challenge to find. I look forward to returning soon!

We had a 3 night stay here at the end of a New England road trip. The first and most important thing to say is that all of the staff were amazing, all super friendly and helpful, I could not fault a single member of staff, and this helped to make our stay extra special. On top of that, the rooms are as you would expect from an IC, finished to a really high standard, meaning a very comfortable stay. The hotel is located in a nice spot, away from too much hassle and bustle, but close enough for everything in the city to be within easy reach. It is also super easy to get to/from the airport, without having to get stuck in city traffic.

Clean, well appointed room which was well serviced. Friendly and very helpful staff who were always eager to help. Good food and friendly bar. Good facilities - spa, pool, gym. Great location to get around the city. Nearby restaurants are all good. Short taxi journey from Boston Logan. Perfect!
