"For my own thinking and point of Touristic view, this is one the best Hotel in Buenos Aires"
We had a wonderful time in this Hugh city, visited the Cafes Tortoni, Los Angelitos, El Banderin. Restaurants: Aramburu, La Estancia, La Cabana and Miranda. Places of Touristic interest: Palermo, La Boca, San Telmo, Caminito, 9 de Julio(World widest Avenue) ,Plaza de Mayo, Tigre y el Delta, Belgrano, Florida Street,Puerto Madero, Colon Theatre, Esquina ( Corner) Carlos Gardel, Tango Porteno, Viejo Almacén, The Recoleta cemetery where the populist leader back in 1940 is buried. Carlos Gardel the famous Tango singer Carlos Gardel, is known as the king of Tango worshipped by Argentinians as a national hero. His cult today is stronger than ever so much so that the Bronze statue at his tomb at la Chacarita Cementery always has a real lighted cigarette between its fingers. Gardel has achieved an-almost religious status. Thank you very much and hope you really enjoyed this herein outlined.
"Exactly what you'd expect from an Intercontinental Hotel"
Hotel is very nice. It's big, rooms spacious and very well taken care of (considering the age). Front desk staff were very friendly and were quick on solving all our enquiries. Bar was nice and the staff was just great. There's a free shuttle that takes you to Puerto Madero, be sure to arrange with the doorman, it work quite nicely. We will definitely be back! Thank you and see you soon.
"Great hotyel, wrong neighborhood"
This is a five start hotel. Nice, clean, with excellent service, and a decent restaurant. However, it is located in the wrong neighborhood. You cannot go out and walk around aster sunset, too dangerous. There is no nice restaurant or bar around the property, you are locked in for the night.
"Centrally located, very comfortable, great service - would recommend"
Upon arrival, I noticed a number of security and doormen outside of the hotel, this was appreciated as I appreciated the visual appearance and security precautions that are under taken. As I am a Sapphire member of IHG, I was greeted by name, upgraded and given access to the Club Level and offered breakfast for a small fee, to which I accepted happily. The room was very nice, hard wood floors, two twin beds, desk, couch and an over-sized bathroom with a separate tub and shower. The beds we a bit dented so when you laid down you kind of had a body imprint that is a sign that the mattress needs to be changed. The room was super clean and I was greeted with a nice note from management in my room with some complimentary water. The Club Level is great, drinks and mini dinner every night from 6-8 pm to which we went to nightly for dinner and wine/beer. It was never crowded and the hostess was always helpful and responsive. The breakfast in the morning on the 2nd floor was great, lots of hot and cold selections, good service in removing plates as well as keeping the coffee topped off. Overall, I had a great stay, excellent service, clean rooms, nice wood floor - oh and my favorite, the shower was amazing, great water pressure and the temperature isn't regulated, so if you like a good hot shower with great water pressure, you will love this place. Will definitely be back it is centrally located in the city, so you can walk to most of the destinations you want to see. ENJOY!!!
"Excellent hotel in midst of city!"
This hotel is beautifully situated in the heart of the city. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly and spoke English fluently. The rooms were spacious and clean. The executive suite staff was always ready to answer and assist always. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
