We stayed here for 3 nights to just relax and adjust to the time difference before beginning our Southeast Asia tour. It was a great choice! The resort is stunning and very well maintained. We loved our room (I think it was a suite), it was comfortable and had a large balcony overlooking a very nice pool area. As always with Intercontinental hotels, the bed was extremely comfortable and the towels so soft. The breakfast buffet was good with tons of choices. Omelets were made to order and the danish were to die for. It would be difficult NOT to find something you like! The resort was very quiet while we were there, much in contrast to downtown Pattaya. We very much enjoyed the solitude and the ability to relax while at the hotel. This was exactly what we were looking for to relax for a few days. The staff was outstanding too and nothing was a problem for them. I highly recommend staying here if you get the chance.
At the end of a long tiring business trip, my college and I decided to have some few relaxing days. We choose Pattaya cause it’s close to Bangkok, but most of all cause we wanted to experience the NEW Intercontinental Resort here.... The Resort is a fantastic Oases 5 min drive from the city. The rooms are nice, the view good, pools and garden is really spacey, cosy and nice. Food is very well presented and Tasty. Best of all is the staff who is doing a fantastic job. It was a really good experience and I look forward to come back in March with my family.
"Exceptional Services with Excellence Facilities!!!"
I have stayed at this property once when it was still Sheraton, before it re-branded to IHG and the result is better than I was expected. The facilities itself still in a very good condition, showing that the property kept excellent routine maintenance. The Infiniti restaurant has one of the best view in Pattay area, don't miss that! However, the real highlight of InterCon Pattaya is the service. Every staff offers you genuine sincere assistance and responded to every demand from the guest, especially those in the club lounge (and it is worth paying extra for this benefit!). Overall, you will not disappoint when choosing to stay at this resort.
"Relax and recover in Tropical Garden"
Great 5 day stay in a lovely tranquil setting. The room was located on the 3rd floor overlooking the treetops that had three types of squirrels leaping from branch to branch, and a variety of birdsong as background entertainment. The swimming pool is lovely (one of three) and you can get your ‘laps’ done even though it’s a creative design that has little ‘cul-de-sacs’ where the jacuzzi and ‘chill out’ spaces are located. The waterfront is very well serviced by attentive but non-intrusive staff who provide a great pizza around lunchtime so your sunbathing isn’t interrupted (a similar service is available at the pools). A key benefit is the regular shuttle into the city so you can balance hotel and local cuisine to balance your budget. All in all, it was a lovely experience in the best Thai hotel I’ve stayed in over the past two decades.
"Beautiful hotel, beautiful staff"
I have just returned from a short stay. This really is a lovely hotel. The staff on arrival were attentive. The room, 415, was spacious, with a very comfortable bed and the softest sheets. Breakfast covers everything you could want. The lounge offers afternoon tea, would definitely recommend. They will golf buggy you from your room to the restaurants or reception. Once you know your way around it isn’t that far. Taxis always available outside to take you into town. If you want a hotel close to town, away from hustle, and luxury this is it.
