"Another Great Intercontinental"
First time that I have stayed here, but the standard of service did not disappoint. Had booked a club suite and the room was large but not massive. The staff in the club lounge were attentive and the quality of the food was excellent.
My wife and I decided to stay at the Intercontinental Singapore and what a great hotel it turned out to be. I have written many times about different chains and this hotel just about covers everything that you expect in a five star property. We were welcomed by this warm hearted young man at the door on our arrival and he set the standard for everyone else to follow and did they deliver. After arriving late we were offered cold towels and tea while our bags were brought to our room then we were escorted to our room and everything in the room was demonstrated to us so that we did not have to work it out for ourselves. I really enjoyed this as some chains do not offer this service and it can be quiet annoying when you are looking for light switches that are hidden and you leave them on due to lack of sleep after a long flight. Rarely do I eat hotels more than once but on this occasion we dined at the Ash and Elm on three occasions and only because the food was excellent on each occasion we tried different mains and each time the chefs delivered "great food" and you have to try their breads wow. Our accommodation included access to the club lounge and boy do you get spoiled here this is definitely one of the best club lounges I have used and to the staff a big thank you for making us so welcome. Finally to the concierge and front of house staff what great people they will make you feel welcome every time you come to the door and no question is to hard. Great property, great food, great staff very clean and very well serviced that's a "Five Star Hotel".
"Personalized Service & Good First Impression"
We had walked into the hotel as we had friends waiting for us there. Instead of heading to the nearest tea and coffee joint, we decided that since we were in the hotel already, we might as well look for the same within the hotel. We found ourselves in the lobby lounge and very nicely, we were shown to booth seats just behind the musicians playing for the patrons at tea-time. Prior to that, we had inquiries about the loyalty card and were wondering who we could approach. A smartly dressed lady, who must have been the executive-on-duty that Sunday; caught sight of us and asked if she could be of assistance. She was very observant and helpful as she asked the receptionist to answer to our inquiries. The receptionist was detailed in explaining how the loyalty card worked and we got our answers. Well done, ladies. We would also highly recommend spending any afternoon at The Lobby Lounge for a comfortable and relaxed time.
"Great stay and amazing hospitality "
The hotel is different and it has got the right staff in right place. From reception to restaurant- service was superb. Nearest market is a just a few yards away from the hotel which indeed was a big relief. Not a heaven for smokers though as they recently prohibited smoking in the hotel.

Return stay. Stayed over the June weekends, special mention to Eugene for arranging the special request which had every of my details addressed and Zhan Peng for the pleasant check in. Please continue to keep up the good work. Breakfast at Ash & Elm had a great spread which will not disappoint. Will look forward to returning to this lovely hotel once again.
