Sheer Professionalism at all levels. Cannot be beaten in Dubai as a Business hotel.Comment of A. Fares , Kuwait the 2016-03-06
Ich war nun zweimal in diesem Hotel und es ist wirklich top und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Da einzige, was mich stört ist, dass versucht wird jedem Gast noch ein Zimmerupgrade beim Checkin zu verkaufen.Comment of L. Alexander , Germany the 2015-09-25
"excellent و Fantastic and perfect"
i stay at this hotel from 13th to 17th November 2017 , it is ideal hotel in my opinion : luxury, very clean, Very friendly and experienced staff, very calm, modern , good location, big rooms, comfortable beds, shuttle services, great break fast, ... my family and me - my little boy - have chance of early check in and late check out which that was great , thanks for this. If I return to Dubai again in the future, I will definitely choose this hotel. majid rezaei
Had stayed in the suites on level 29. Views were amazing, had a work area, separate dining area, access to their lounge with drinks included, and a great location to most places including the Dubai mall. Staff were extremely helpful.
"Terrible experience at the Eden resort and spa booked through Emirates Holidays"
Our flight, transfers and accommodation for our trip to Sri Lanka was booked and arrange through Emirates Holidays. On arrival in Sri Lanka we were taken to our airconed minivan for our transfer to our resort in Beruwala. It was a 2 hour journey from the airport to the Eden Resort and Spa in Beruwala. At no stage during the journey did our driver offer us any water to drink even though we had just got off a flight where we were not allowed to bring any liquids in our hand luggage. It was also extremely hot and humid and a cold bottle of water would have been a very welcome and kind gesture. Our driver took the coastal route, so we were able to see the ocean for most of the drive. The scenery was breath taking. At least 10 days prior to our departure our travel agent emailed the Eden resort and spa to request inter-leading rooms and rooms in a quiet section of the resort. She received no response from the resort. If only we knew that this would be just the beginning of a nightmare stay at this resort. The Eden Resort and Spa is definitely not a 4 or 5 star resort. We have stayed at many resorts in India, China, Phuket, Malaysia and Hong Kong, but this was by far the worst experience we have ever had. Firstly the rooms were not clean, there were cockroaches and the air conditioner gave off a damp, mouldy smell. We complained, but since we left the hotel early each morning for our tours and only returned at about 9 pm, we never seemed to get the same staff on duty. After our complaints fell on deaf ears we decided to cut one of our tours short to ensure that we could first deal with the room issues. We demanded to see the manager and got him to first check the computer to see the list of complaints that we had registered. Thereafter we took him up to the rooms to inspect it. He had to agree that the cleanliness and the awful smell were unbearable. He then got house- keeping to address the problem and clean the air filters of the aircon. The problem was resolved in my room 307, but not in my sister room 308. The hotel's solution was then to mask the foul odour, by putting on glade air fresheners in the room. My sisters then resolved to not use the aircon at all, but rather to open the balcony doors. This was problematic, as the squirrels then came into the room. On our last day the manager said they would see what they could do about changing my sister's room. At this stage it really was too late. The other gripe we had was that our rooms were allocated close to the pool and bar and we were only able to sleep after 1 am in the morning because of the live band that played every night. We had to leave most mornings at 5 am for our day tours. So we were forced to survive on 3 hours sleep a day. The beaches are red flagged at this time of year, which meant we could not swim in the ocean. We would definitely not recommend this resort to anyone and avoid room 308 at all costs. I sincerely hope that Emirates Holidays would review their recommendation of this hotel and would address our concerns with the resort, so that another family does not have to have same experience that we had.
"breathtaking views - efficient front desk staff"
As we were celebrating my friend's birthday I took the silver package and I sent an email to the hotel telling them about that circumstance. At our arrival, the front desk staff was extremely helpful and nice. Providing us all the info and they upgraded us. I have to admit that the silver package was an excellent idea and the value for money is amazing as includes a facial treatment (for 2) and amenities in the room. Next day we went to Jumeirah private beach and Wild Wadi (the hotel provides shuttle free for guests but the timings are not very convenient and there is a low frequency to we took our car). The overall experience was very satisfactory.
We chose to stay at this hotel for the location and having stayed at other Jumeriah hotels, we thought we’d give Emirates Towers a try. Our check in could have been better handled. We were checked into a room and when we got there we were then told we would have to move. Whilst it didn’t cause a of problem, the last thing you want having arrived at the hotel is to then move rooms again. I think the check in and room change could have been better handled. That said, we were given a complimentary breakfast the morning we arrived so that helped when we checked in. The hotel itself is very nice and generally efficiently run. The staff our polite and helpful. The pool is small but perfectly adequate. The pool side service however could be sharper. At breakfast, there was plenty of choice and the smoothie station is a great touch. When the hotel was particularly busy on a Friday, breakfast was also served in the Rib Room. However we had to wait a short wait for a table on the Saturday when despite the queues, the Rib Room wasn’t open. The location of the hotel is great. It’s very close to the metro and everywhere is easily accessible. The hotel provides a shuttle bus to various locations but getting the metro is just as easy. Free passes are given for the Jumeriah Beach Hotel and Wild Wadi water park which was great. Overall the hotel provides a very good service but it’s the few niggly bits that if resolved could make this hotel excellent (the staff outside the reception could be more attentive at getting you a taxi etc) You expect excellence at Jumeriah group hotels and with sharper service the hotel could be excellent. I would stay at the hotel again due to the otherwise great service, politeness of staff and it’s location. I would also not hesitate in recommending this hotel to others too. Overall a very good experience.
