"Glitzy but not all it seems"
This is a really posh hotel , it's very clean with friendly staff ... food choices not so good for children they can pick from a menu but it's all the same ... the restraunts will cater for different tastes but it's not much choice .. bedrooms are dark ... the marble bath is very dangerous as my son slipped and badged his arm first day we were there ... upside is they give u loads of free water to drink ... sun beds are comfy and the pool is great too.. shame the jacuzzi didn't work we were so disappointed .. when we asked why we were told about 5 different stories... kids club is great my son stayed there all day every day for 5 days they have use of x boxes and play stations with all the latest games.. they also play movies in the club and the kids are very safe ... I wouldn't go back there though I didn't feel a connection with the place but ... it's in Dubai and the suns there so what's to really moan about.....
"The most amazing hotel in Dubai!"
From the second you arrive at the hotel you are treated like Kings and Queens! It is absolutely stunning! Our second visit to this hotel and it will definitely not be our last! EVERY member of staff is so polite and courteous, even remembering our family from the year before by name! Massive thank you to housekeeping who do an amazing job every day, all the restaurant staff for the mouthwatering, delicious food each meal time and to everyone of the lifeguards and kids club staff who played with my children most days, both of our boys had the best time at Sinbads and made some great artwork and crafts! There is no other hotel that we would ever stay at when we visit Dubai. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure you have the best vacation ever. Do not overlook going to the spa as it is unbelievable! The security staff at the hotel are on the ball and so very polite. Everything about the hotel is just perfect! We can't wait to go back next year! Thank you to the Zabeel Saray for an awesome holiday!
The hotel is absolutely incredible - really large and opulent and beautiful - the staff are very very friendly and the service is top class - the only two negatives I have is that the "queen sized beds" (which we were told on check in but actually looking now on our confirmation does say "double") are not queen sized - I don't care which measuring tape they use - my husband (a large 6ft2 man) and I were so cramply squeezed onto one that we swapped and had a child each instead of sharing a bed - I still spent most the night at the bottom of the bed trying to give my daughter room - for all the money spent elsewhere they should use these beds as singles and put decent sized king-sized beds in each room - the room was massive (over 50m2) and easily had the space to accommodate 2 king sized beds - would have made all the difference. The only other issue was the building renovations of one of their restaurants which was quite noisy if you spend any time at the kids pool - not a massive problem but it is there. If you're Westerners then may I also suggest you buy some duty free alcohol and enjoy a drink in your room before dinner - I do understand that this is a 'dry' country but charging over ZAR270 for a small glass of wine is out there even for us. Saying all that - I would return in a heartbeat and consider this the best hotel we've stayed in, in Dubai on any of our 8 trips.

"the best decor for a hotel room in the world"
the hotel is stunning & immaculate. the entrance at night all lit up is something special. the restaurant for breakfast is out of this world, defiantly the grandest room you will ever eat breakfast in. i will be staying here again this year with friends who have never been & i do hope they are as wow'd as we were, we always stay in the other Jumeriah hotels at the madinat & prefer it down there but this has the best decor for rooms. i just find a few days here is enough just purely due to lack of restaurants & things to do on a evening. Voda bar is gorgeous but some nights are extremely quiet. you can use the half board down at the other Jumeriah hotels but that is a 15 min taxi ride away so just for that alone we will always favour the location of the other hotels. as i say we are returning this year for 2 nights then 6 nights in al qasr just so we can show our friends both locations, the palm is amazing & staying on there with an amazing view is a great experience. i would definatly recommend this hotel, the rooms are huge, free wifi everywhere, full size hair dryer, iron, ironing board. lots of storage.
