"Really Nice Stay"
Stayed here as part of a large conference I was attending. All staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. My room was nice and on the quieter side of the building. Heard some noise but not enough to disturb my sleep. The huge bathroom had a separate shower stall as well as a deep soaker tub. Both were great and well maintained. My room was far from the elevators so there was a bit of a walk but nothing too onerous. Pool and fitness area was nice too. Check in and check out we're efficient with no problems at all. The hotel is right in the heart of the loop with quick walks to Michigan avenue, and the Willis tower. There were a few restaurants nearby but the area is a bit quieter at night and on weekends. Overall a really nice stay.
This hotel is exactly would you would expect from a JW Marriott, and more. Large rooms, all the amenities, fantastic staff. If you're a business traveler in particular you can't ask for more in terms of speed of wifi, large desks in the room, and an executive lounge for breakfast and newspapers and snacks. The lobby bar is a great place to unwind as well - really great stay, and I'll be back.
"Amazing hotel with great service!"
I recently stayed at the JW Marriot in downtown Chicago for a conference. I was expecting it to be a good hotel, but it definitely exceeded my expectations. The conference rooms were perfect for our event, and all the snacks and food that they provided couldn't be better. The room was spacious and comfortable. I visited the gym and pool and jacuzzi. The three of them were pretty impressive, and weren't busy at all!
We found the rooms in this hotel to be very quiet, and the front desk service to be excellent. The bed was comfortable, there was coffee in the room, the rooms are well decorated and there are blackout curtains! I took away a star for there being only one robe in our room - and that two an obviously torn one, there being no slippers which is usually common in luxury hotels, for the club lounge not being open past breakfast on the weekends, and for the chaos at breakfast in the club lounge which isn't the fault of the staff but the seating/ breakfast process may need to be managed by train (perhaps someone at the front door seating people or directing people to what they may be looking for). All in all a great stay in a nice quiet neighborhood on the weekends!
"All You'd Expect of A JW Marriott"
Impressive old-timey, classic lobby with lots of marble. Check in process was excellent and the front desk agent was very welcoming and professional. Spacious room was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was huge. Room service was prompt and the food was great. Impressive facility and great staff.
