"Great location. Modernised small hotel."
Situated within 15 minutes walk of Red Square & the Kremlin . Also walking distance of variety of restaurants, Metro etc. Friendly staff. Clean , modernised room overlooking canal in boutique sized hotel .
"Comfortable and convenient"
Comfortable small hotel conveniently situated about 15 minutes walk from Red Square. Very friendly staff. We had a large room at the back but rooms overlooking the canal are probably available. Good breakfast. An excellent choice for tourists in Moscow.
Nice little boutique hotel on walking distance from Kremlin. Good size room. Clean, modern and comfortable. Very helpful and friendly staff speaking excellent English. Breakfast quite okay. 100% recommended!
"Smart boutique hotel in a good place"
I was staying here for a little under a week for work. The hotel is clean and neat and the rooms are large enough and well appointed. I had a room away from the road (not busy, but the traffic hurtles down it) and the canal but it suffered from some air con noises from the hotel and adjoining office blocks. So I had to keep the windows shut, effectively cutting out all the noise. The bed was comfortable and the staff kept the room well ordered and very clean. TV, safe, tea and coffee, free bottled water, free wifi of good enough quality. The staff all speak English well and are super friendly and helpful. They were great at quickly working out my visa authorisation documents and all that went smoothly. The lobby area is nothing special (but why would it be' I find the grander the lobby, the more modest the rooms!) but it does have a free espresso coffee machine with cups to drink in the small seating area or take away cups. This is good when you realise if you have to have coffee they'll charge you for it in the b/fast restaurant (I had an inc. breakfast rate and it was irksome to pay the extra every morning for non flask coffee), so I'd grab a cup after breakfast and take it to my room while I prepped for the day! The breakfast is hot and cold buffet and of high quality and broad in choice. The restaurant is a shared facility and has to be accessed from your room floor via it's own lift. Once you've worked this out it's fine. Breakfast is for guests only, but the lunches and suppers are shared with non guests. The food is eclectic, high quality and modern, but the portions are not your American kind, so don't expect an Applebee's sort of loaded experience. The menu didn't change while we were there and because it's not extensive it became tricky to find something new, especially for me, a pescatarian. The restaurant seems to be habituated by local businessmen and it can get a bit raucous at times, but it's just the ebullient Russian temperament and never aggressive. In fact one particularly lively group felt so guilty about the fun they were having they sent drinks to us every time they bought a round themselves! The Russians, if you don't know, are very warm hearted, generous people I've always found! I used to use the Metropol but this hotel is better, and not so expensive. It's now my go to place for Moscow. It is in easy access to the main tourist spots, but if you are looking for something other than the Red Square, St Basils, Gum store experience, nRed October (Old Chocolate Factory) is a ten minute walk away with all it's trendy shops and restaurants, and a little further Gorky Park, the famous Museum Park of Arts and the highly improbable statue of Peter the Great standing massively on his sailing ship. All in all a great hotel. Recommended.
"Best Hotel Ever"
We were 3 days in Kadashevskaya Hotel. It was very nice and clean hotel. Near to city attractions. Staffs are so friendly and helpful, they helped us to find our way to train station Moskovsky that we couldn't find it even on the map. Remarkable dining area and complete breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel.
